In current alpha, this will drop from Dazar, the final boss of the dungeon King's Rest (on mythic difficulty, thank you minduim).
Chances are probably fairly low... as the mount looks quite nice.

Confirmed to drop from the last boss in King's Rest on live as of the 16th of August 2018.

It's an undead version of the Battle for Azeroth Digital Deluxe mount and you can trade it with your group

The mount itself is called Tomb Stalker

I can confirm that it drops from the fourth and final boss of Mythic Kings Rest. So I'm not sure if I'm incredibly lucky for once or if this will have a decent drop rate because it dropped for me (along with the ilvl 340 leather belt and a Hydrocore) my first time completing the encounter. One other thing to note, I'm not sure this matters at all but this was a guild first achievement as well. Acquired on Alterac Mountains NA 8/24/18.

I really love this mount and the gilded ravasaur from the bfa deluxe, but i hate this giant seat/saddle. It's just way too big and looks bad from the back of the mount.

I wish you could toggle or adjust the size of the seat yourself or something, it kinda ruins an otherwise awesome mount for me :(

As of 5-9-2018, I can confirm it also drops from Mythic keystone runs. I did a m+5 run and it dropped for me. ( Even when the timer ran out).

My guild still hates me for it.

10/10 would blow my drop luck for the expansion on a recolor of a mount I already had, pissing off my guild in the process.

The mount shows on the bonus roll loot table, but has anyone actually gotten it on a bonus roll? I would very much like to find out. Have tried myself, but didn't get the mount. That was just one roll, though.

Looted from a +10 myth. In my case there weren't any other loot objects and my group looted 3 pieces of regular loot. So the mount is not a part of the whole loot, but a personal secret roll.

I'm at 100+ attempts at this mount and have only seen it drop once. Like most people who actively farm this, I'm doing KR+2 or KR+3 keys (usually at least 5 per day), which can get really repetitive and annoying, but still persevering.

On the bright side, I've met some great bois with the same goal in mind, added them as Bnet friends, and we now regularly farm low keys together super efficiently. Shout out to the Sylvanas/Die Ewige Wacht/Blackmoore Dazar assassins!

EDIT: 150 attempts, saw 3 drops.
EDIT 2: 195+ attempts, still 3 drops.
EDIT 3: 250+ attempts, still only 3 drops seen.
FINAL EDIT: FINALLY got it after around 270 attempts. Based off a 1% drop rate, I was ~91.3% unlucky :)

Decided to start doing M+'s and got guildies to help me out. First dungeon/M+ of BFA and it dropped for me. Guildies were a little salty that I wouldn't trade it to them hahaha :D

Got it on a +8 DEPLETED King's Rest a couple of days ago, after the measly 2 pieces of loot had been distributed to the two worst party members. I was top DPS with 21k and only the healer was decent, sadly walked up to the chest to collect my tidalcore and lo and behold, mount drop on my 20th keystone run on what was quite possibly the worst ever. RNG has a heart sometimes xD

Currently at 181 attempts as of 5/3/2018 - seen 4 drops so far:
1st drop seen at around 20 attempts. On a +2 mythic.
2nd and 3rd both dropped on the same run, also on a + 2 mythic on around 80 attempts.
4th drop has been seen on around 160 attempts on a + 3 mythic.

WARNING: If you get this mount and use it. It will show in your mount list with different name "Tomb Stalker". However according to dungeon journal in game on Dazar The First King loot it is called “Mummified Raptor Skull” and also according to wowhead it is “Mummified Raptor Skull”.

As of 10/15/2019 I have attempted to get this mount 157 times of Mythic and Mythic+ dungeons. I have seen it drop approximately 5 times. I will update this post when I finally get it with the final tally for how many runs it took me.

11/8/2019 - 200 attempts and still trying.
11/20/2019 - 222 attempts going strong. Someone my group just told me this last run was his 343rd attempt, and he's still trying. Ouch.
1/21/2020 - 300 attempts. Still trying.
2/23/2020 - 350 attempts.
3/11/2020 - After 408 &*!@ing attempts, roughly 170 hours spent; I finally got this %^&*ing mount. %^&* off King's Rest; you'll never see me in your tomb ever again!

Finally got mine the other day on my 100th attempt on a +2 key. (I ran 18x M0 and 82 Keys). So precicely 1% drop Chance for me...
I saw 4 Mounts drop for groupmates before i got mine.
I ended up doing loads of low Keys prefereably 2 or 3 for only one affix and never higher then 5.
Luckily there are alot of people still farming this so groups form fast and there are usually a bunch of geared guys arround for smooth sailing.
This is an awesome looking Mount that will be a great momento for this Expansion.

I am hunting this sheety mount since bfa release, i am not HC progress player, rather i would say lone wolf, but still, very very soon we will get Shadowlands, have 75 tries and like not even i didn't get drop, but i haven't seen an single drop for any of my group mates.... I don't get it how that drop system works... HONESLTY LIKE WTF

As of 9.1.5, this is now solo-able. Mchimba the Embalmer (mummy boss) no longer Entombs.

I never played BFA expansion so I'm unsure how dungeons work from this expansion. I would like to begin farming for this mount in Shadowlands, can someone confirm lockout rules on King's Rest Mythic? Can I run it once daily per character on Mythic 0 for mount chance or once weekly (like Legion Return to Karazhan)? Can I run it multiple times a day on Mythic 0 or would I have to run Mythic+ (1 or higher) to bypass the loot rules? Thanks to anyone with info!

If you are farming this in Shadowlands and beyond, sadly there is no way to skip most of the trash like in Freehold and Underrot dungeons for farming those two mounts.

Clearing this dungeon will take roughly 10-20 minutes depending on your class and ilevel. In Shadowlands I recommend ilevel 230+ but in Dragonflight any ilevel will most likely be doable. If you have stealth or invis pots, the best time to use it will be in the long hallway filled with adds before the 3rd boss.

The only annoying part will be in the long hallway before the third boss, be careful with the mobs here as they will have knockback abilities that can knock you off the ledge. The last thing you want to do is get knocked off and have to run back for 5 minutes.

The mount drops on mythic only, once per week per character. It drops off the chest when defeating the final boss. It dropped for me after 180 runs. Good luck.

i have over 750 attempts at this mount. we are losing millions of players and they cant figure out why? this drop rate is so toxic its unreal. It sucks cuz im too far in now to quit ... thats how i feel. i want a certain mount but in order to have it i have to run the same dungeon thousands of times? Who in their right mind thinks that is ok?

So, if you are still faming this in Shadowlands and will farm this in Dragonflight there is a method to skip the first 2 bosses:

1. If you haven't yet, clear the dungeon normally and wait for the next weekly reset. If you already have a lockout, skip this step.
2. After the weekly reset, extend your lockout.
3. Go to the dungeon. You will spawn at the third boss.
4. Remove your lockout extention.
6. Kill the council
7. Kill last boss and pray!

After removing lockout you can technically cross the bridge to last boss, but it teleports you back, so you have to kill the third boss. (Atleast I haven't found a way past it)

This will save you a lot of time, especially if you farm this on multiple chars.

Hello All!

I have been farming Teschio di Raptor Mummificato on 50 characters per week for the last 2-3 months and today the mount dropped for me on attempt 427 using the excellent skip technique listed below by Lliteral, remarkably lucky day as I also had the Spezzacuori X-45 drop after 9392 attempts from the first opening of the day, Good luck to all chasing the Tomb Stalker, in my opinion it is one of the nicest mount models in the game.

P.S When you get the mount, you'll know immediately as 4 purple items will drop from the chest instead of the normal 3!

759 attempts using the King's Rest skip (which still works by the way) and I have yet to even see this drop. Either my RNGesus is terrible or it does not exist. Constantly run this with 32 characters a week and this must be a very, very cruel joke.

Update 02/05/2024: 1102 tries and still tormented. I have to believe I am the joke :(. Took a break for 2 months. This I swear, still nowhere as bad as my 798 runs on DS (which still hasn't dropped the Blazing Drake).

Updated 03/05/2024: 1225 attempts... AND ITS FINALLY MINE! Skip works and this mount EXISTS!

*PSA if you are doing Lliterals extend lockout trick, don't log out in dungeon before you clear it!*

Today on EU 20/12/23 i extended, spawned at 3rd boss like i always do and after i killed last boss i cannot loot chest. It is not clickable and no loot in mail. This happend twice! At first i thought it was because i killed King Dazar when he was mid air but i made sure to kill adds on my 2nd kill. I attemped once more but this time i didn't relog after i extended and entered. I did this on the previous 2 runs to kill world bosses on alts.

I did only kill King Dazar twice after relogging in dungeon after extending, i'd rather not test again and losing out on an attempt.

I went all in on this mount. Leveled up an alt army (35X lvl 70 chars). I made it my New Year's resolution to obtain this mount and I've been farming this mount every week since the start of 2024. After 8 weeks and aprox 280+ attempts it finally dropped.
