Benedizione del Pantheon is the item used to upgrade the Pantheon trinkets that drop from Argus il Distruttore, the last boss in the Antorus, il Trono Infuocato. What follows is some further information on this item, and the trinkets in question:

There are 5 epic Pantheon trinkets, as well as 1 legendary one (Visione di Aman'thul).
These 6 trinkets exclusively drop from Argus il Distruttore.
The epic trinkets drop at an item level of 940, and can be upgraded to a maximum item level of 1000 with Benedizione del Pantheon, which drops from Argus il Distruttore.

This item level is higher than any other available for non-legendary items for the duration of Antorus, il Trono Infuocato, as the maximum Titanforging cap will be set at 985 when this raid opens.

The legendary trinket, Visione di Aman'thul, will be item level 1000 when it drops. It will be the only legendary that drops exclusively from a single boss.
Benedizione del Pantheon drops from Argus il Distruttore on Normal, Heroic and Mythic difficulties.

This item is NOT a guaranteed drop.
Like the trinkets themselves, these items do not drop on LFR difficulty.
These start to drop in Week 2 of the Argus raid (week of December 6/17) and will drop even if you do not yet have a Pantheon trinket.
You can loot Benedizione del Pantheon only once per week, regardless of how many times you defeat Argus il Distruttore, even on various difficulties.
Each Benedizione del Pantheon will upgrade a trinket by 5 item levels; as such it will take a minimum of 12 of them (i.e. 12 weeks) to max out the item level of a trinket.

This is pretty terrible, if you have bad RNG and never get the trinket... you're going to be behind SO MUCH when you finally get the trinket and these start dropping for you.

I did the raid on normal this week and got Coraggio di Khaz'goroth. I later, in the same week, did heroic Argus The Unmaker and did not receive Benedizione del Pantheon. I'm uncertain if its one personal loot a week from Argus, if I missed something or if it's just not a 100% drop.

One working theory is that everyone - regardless of whether you've gotten a trinket or not - will start getting this for killing Argus during the SECOND and subsequent weeks (as there have been NO reports of anyone getting it this week). It would thus work as a gradual nerf of the content (very gradual to start) as more players get trinkets & can then upgrade them in accordance with how many times they've killed Argus up until that point. Let's hope this is the case.

As the post was worded as it was a guaranteed drop, I asked a GM.

"Game Master XXXXX here and I do hope this message finds you bright eyed and in high spirits!

First I want to thank you for your patience here! Recently the number of tickets has gone up substantially and we appreciate your patience while we got this looked into. : )

I was just going over the tickets here and I see you downed Argus the Unmaker and did not get the Pantheon's Blessing, no worries I’m happy to look into this and see what might have happened here. : )

So after checking this out I don’t have the best news here, it looks like the Pantheon's Blessing is not a guaranteed loot for all members of the raid and it’s being reported very common for one or multiple members of the same group not to get it. There is much speculation on whether or not this means you did not tap or have enough threat but nothing confirmed at this point other then it not being a guaranteed drop for all members. : (

You will be able to try again next week, be sure to report in game by hitting “esc” then click ”Help” and finally “Submit Bug Report” just in case there is any issues here to be sure the dev teams get reports while in the moment. I do wish you all the best in your next run and hope it drops right away!

Just to clarify, this is not a guaranteed drop. It has a chance to drop upon successful completion of the encounter.

This week all the 12 members of the raid (out of 15 people) who have killed Argus the second time received the upgrade token. Maybe this might be a coincidence, anyone else noticing this?

Update: Next kill on the boss and again everyone who has already killed this boss at least once has received an upgrade token.

Update2: So far everyone in our team got an upgrade token every time we killed Argus from the 5 kills we had (except the first kill).

I killed Argus this week on normal and didn't receive a pantheon's blessing (first time out of the 4 kills I have not gotten one, trinket is currently sitting at 955 and I'm not counting the first week). I was convinced it was a bug and that it was a guaranteed drop so I opened up a ticket and got this response:

"Although we can't comment on drop rates specifically, I can confirm that Pantheon's Blessing isn't a guaranteed drop. If you check out .item=155831 domain=www]/pantheons-blessing#comments:id=2531633 you'll see it's mentioned there too, so it's likely that you just didn't get one this time around, unfortunately."

I saw some other comments on here mentioning the same, just wanted to back it up.

These can continue to drop after your trinket is 1000 even if your class (Mage in this case) only has one trinket option (Abilità di Norgannon for example). My trinket is at 1000 but I still receive new blessings. When you attempt to use it, the cast to upgrade proceeds normally but at the end fails and an error is displayed. Guess I'll just keep these in the bank for reminiscing.

I have encountered the fabled 'doesn't drop on kill' situation, but I went and killed him again on another difficulty and had it drop. The first kill was on heroic the 2nd was on normal, didn't DC or lag or bug on the first kill or anything it was a completely standard kill. It seems (though isn't confirmed) that if you don't receive it on your first kill you do get to try again, though I don't know if it would work with normal&normal.

If you think the "up to item level 280" has been overlooked or is a mistake, blizzard just forgot to change the text.
Whenever you try to apply it to the trinket at the moment, you will only get the message "That item is not a valid target".

This is broken in the Shadowlands PrePatch (as of 19th October 2020). When you use it on a path of the titans trinket (base ilvl scaled to 51) it says "you can't do that" and the tooltip for this still references ilvl 280 max. It looks like this was overlooked in the SL squish. It may be fixed so if you want to save them for your paths feel free as they only vendor for 1 copper.

Worthless item in the Shadowlands pre-patch, it would seem. Not only they do not appear to work anymore, but the baseline trinkets are the same ilvl as the max-upgraded ones should be. My hunter who has one from Legion is now ilvl51, and my rogue who just got one this week is also ilvl51.
