Actually this is a huge step back for alchemists. The alchemist trinket was always a real perk to be used till far in the endgame. Now it is soon to be banked. Ofc it depends per spec but for my moonkin it is already useless after a few drops from rares the day I hit level 120. Since the trinket has a ilvl requirement of 120 I used it about 1 hour.
I really hope they make it upgradable somewhere later in the expansion (preferabky very soon).

Why does this even exist?
It's useless for equipping because of it's low ilvl, even if it's strong for 300, there's so many 325 WQ trinkets all the time...
It's useless as a method of expulsom transfer from one character to another because it costs 18 (EIGHTEEN!) freakin expulsom (unless it gives you that much at scrapping, has anyone tested this?)
Hooray, rank three gives you a chance for multiples.
That's like saying "Here, buy this 10x overpriced ^&*! and get a second one for FREEEEEE (sometimes)"

Seriously, was this in beta? Is there any communication between the people responsible for professions and those responsible for itemization and droprates?
I pity everyone who built one of these. Meanwhile, 3 of the 4 Darkmoon trinkets are probably cheaper than this.

I just made this item at rank 3 and sent it to a toon to use in the scrapper in hopes for some expulsom. Big mistake, do not waste your mats to do this. Here is what I received after scrapping this item: Winter's Kiss x7, Sea Stalk x6, Anchor Weed x2, Akunda's Bite x6, Star Moss x8, Siren's Pollen x8, and Riverbud x5. Quite underwhelming considering the amount of expulsom it takes to make.
