Took me about 30 - 45 minutes and maybe ~100 skins to get the tooth after I looked up where to farm it.

Somethings not right with this item. Ive collected well over 10,000 fiendish leather and still no rank 3. checked every guide. Followed every recomendation on what and where to skin. and nothing.

Very easy and faster to get with Segugio Antoran just 8 mobs killed and done.

I farmed the Duskcloak Panthara enough that I had over 5000 Fiendish Leather before I moved to MacAree and poked the Panthara there to vary it up, and it finally dropped. Yikes.

This is frustrating. I leveled skinning on an alt at the tail end of Legion for the pet. Somehow I was able to skin fiendish leather without the quest starting. 6 weeks and multiple reopened tickets later - they decided i was indeed glitched and sent the first quest piece. Within minutes the second piece dropped. I got sidetracked and forgot about it until now. My skinner is like lvl 37 in the new Kul skinning , but stuck at level 2 fiendish leather because the piece will not drop. (Neither will the pet - I can't tell if it's just horrid RNG or if im glitched again. )

I didn't come out while farming 2,000 Fiendish Leather, but after finishing the Petrified Forest quest, I came out after farming 500.

maybe If you're working on it, finish the quest in the Petrified Forest and farm it.

can be very frustrating to farm but I can confirm that it still drops from pantheras in the petrified forest... took me only 4.855 leather... at least they respawn very quickly

2024g in grey items
And various items from oddly-shaped-stomach

Somewhere along the one I think I lost my sanity in that area as well - so if anyone else is skinning in the Petridifed Forest and comes across it,...please feel free to forward it me. Thanks.

2831 Fiendish Leather later i looted the Dente Corrotto From a Panthara Mantombroso in the Petrified Forest - After having unlocked World quests on Krokuun and completed the 2-3 quests in petrified forest.
Not saying that those quests in the forest is required, i just did them for reasons

Over 7000 Fiendish Leather still no Dente Corrotto, my account is cursed for everything :/

Edit : I Dropped the Dente Corrotto after 8003 Fiendish Leather.

I feel like there is an hidden requirement to drop the Dente Corrotto.
I cleared the full campaign story of argus / done the dungeon quest and turn the last magni quest.
Right after i killed like 20 Panthara and the item dropped.

Could be nice to know if others people who dropped the item have done the story campaign with their char.

I got it today from Antoran Hound in Eredath after 171 attempts. I was able to kill 18 per round and would then realm hop to a second account, rinse and repeat. It took about an hour. Of note, the item Corrupted Tooth actually appears on the loot table for Antoran Hound on Wowhead, with 76 reports as of this morning from skinning, or a 0.5% drop chance. While respawn rates are definitely slower, I think the drop rate is considerably higher than for Duskcloak Panthara, Young Duskcloak, and Duskcloak Alpha in the Petrified Forest. I had killed about 800 there and had been unsuccessful. While drops from these mobs have definitely been reported, Wowhead has yet to record one on their skinning loot table. Also, my skinner character was my main and was played during Legion during its entirety, so probably had another ~ 2000 attempts previously on other mobs prior to today. Good luck!

Got from a Duskcloak panthara dont know how many kills but i went from rank 0-3 and ended up having 1236 fiendish leather in my bags got all recipes from those panthera beasts in petrified forrest (krokuun) 74/71

Something probably bug the item's drop rate. I have currently farmed more than 14k Cuoio Demoniaco for nothing.

Got Dente Corrotto after 883 Attempts of Skinning (2246 Cuoio Demoniaco) in the Petrified Forest from the Duskloak Panthara. It dropped from an Alfa Mantombroso . Not sure if it has any correlation but I also had the Quest Il Cuore Ardente done.

I got mine from skinning Duskcloak Panthara in the Petrified Forest. Didn't Keep track of the time / kills but I have 4412 Fiendish Leather skinned on my Worgen.

I had Rank 2 since Legion so i got 2-3 Cuoio Demoniaco per kill. I said: this new achivement will be an eazy one, i just go and get rank 3. If i only knew...

I cleared the Shadow stalker mobs (there is about 10 of them in the large area after the first boss) in the seat of the triumvirate instance on mythic difficulty (unfortunately it's not available on normal); I got the corrupted tooth after about 5 clears (got a total of 200 fiendish leather in my bags). Seems like the droprate is higher on elite mobs.

I was prepared to grind for a while but got it at 1316 Fiendish leather. I also did have skinning on this character back in legion but never got the recipe.

To speed things, buy or make the following:

Legion crafted gloves (e.g. Warhide Gloves )
Enchant Gloves - Legion Skinning

Went back in 10.2 to get this for Tecniche di Scuoiatura delle Isole Disperse after only obtaining rank 2 in Legion.

Farmed exclusively the Panthara in Krokuun around 72, 70.

After over 8 hours and 10478 Cuoio Demoniaco in my bags, this finally dropped.

Ridiculous drop chance.

Finally got my Dente Corrotto after 12395Cuoio Demoniaco from Panthara Mantombroso! On this awesome time wasting adventure, I managed to obtain 210 Sargerite Primordiale, 45 Sangue di Sargeras and 4 Larva della Bile Scavatrice. I don't know how long it took, but i was swaping between Panthara Mantombroso and Segugio Antoran every now and then, to make things more spicy and entertaining.
