Was the Warlords whelpling not enough? Or is this the same one, coming back to us a few years later to check in? Is it an adult, mini-drake model?

Why introduce this pet at all? I'm confused.

It is possible that this is misattributed as a pet and will actually be a mount, however it is also possible that this will simply be a bronze whelp pet using the new whelp model introduced in Legion, rather than the classic whelp model used by the one that already exists.

I just received this after I estimate around 40 wallets. So yes, it does exist.

Edit: I've now received 3. Pity they're soulbound. No sign of the pet as yet.

Despite the statistics listed here, there is absolutely No way this has a 50% drop chance from the wallet. I've opened at least 40 and have gotten 2 of other other pet type, and 0 of this, so plan on having to open many, many wallets before you get it.

My way to farm 8-12 Sabbie del Tempo in around 2-3 minutes:
( Sabbie del Tempo can obtain Borsellino Senza Tempo for the two Pets Draco Bronzeo Senza Età and Proto-Draghetto di Bronzo )

You have to enter the scenario and enter the very left portal "The War for Andorhal".
To obtain the portal you have to do:

Kill Piuma di Smeraldo for 24 Piuma di Smeraldo and Pianta Sferzante di Smeraldo for 30 Fibra Distorta
Combine these into 3 Acchiappaincubi to enter the Emerald Nightmare, and defeat all 6 Tormentatore del Sogno (2 per Ancient).
Defeat Thalas Spinavile by the skull/hand statue.
This boss drops Cronoscheggia Riflettente to start Cronoscheggia Riflettente and unlock the Andorhal portal back at Wyrmrest Temple.

Once you've entered the portal accept the Quest from Chromie Cannoneggiando contro il cielo to get one more Sabbie del Tempo .
Afterwards fly straight to kill (each marked with a star on the minimap) Roobi Schizzascintille , Talessah Trainapelli , Gro'thogg , Tessimalocchio Jakunda and Speziale Tillings .
They drop around 1-2 Sabbie del Tempo each. Be aware, sometimes there are Cassa del Tempo directly close to those NPCs. Which also obtain 1-3 Sabbie del Tempo .
Kill the canon to complete Cannoneggiando contro il cielo and turn it in.
Do not forget to open your Sabbie del Tempo , they will disappear if you leave the scenario.
Right click your portrait to quickly leave the scenario.
Speak to Chromie again and repeat the steps till you have your two pets. :)

I am either very unlucky or the drop chance was nerfed:

153 Sands of Time
35 Time-Lost Wallet (22.9%)
2 Ageless Bronze Drake (5.7%)
0 Bronze Proto-Whelp

For those wondering if they are unlucky , you aren't. I used to run the scenario a lot to farm the badges and with the addition of legion TW have started again. In the past I would run the scenario for an hour and end up with about 700-800 Sabbie del Tempo and about 6-8 Draco Bronzeo Senza Età and Proto-Draghetto di Bronzo of varied ratios and a few thousand gold. Now I am not even sure if they are possible to get from the scenario anymore as the droprate of the Borsellino Senza Tempo is next to nothing (I only received one for my whole time running the scenario tonight.

I have noticed one thing and it may be nothing but I also thought the droprates of the Sabbie del Tempo had been reduced as well. This seemed to change during Legion TW week where I was getting about the same as I used to get no matter what TW week it was. So I'm not positive but so far it seems to me that the best week for farming the badges are Legion weeks and as far as the pets go, buy them now if you don't have them because once people realize that they are either impossible or next to impossible to get anymore the prices are sure to go up. I'll try to remember to edit this post later after I have run a bunch more this week and add if I saw any of the pets at all.

I'm late to the game, but I want to echo what several of the other posters have said: Time Lost Wallets only drop once per day. So don't bother farming for them after one drops.

If you are farming for the pets like I am, your best option is to run the scenario until a wallet drops (it shouldn't take too long). Once a wallet drops, abandon the scenario and don't bother returning to the scenario on that day with that toon. Switch to an alt and run the scenario again until a wallet drops. Rinse and repeat until you get your pets. Unless you are extremely lucky, this will likely take several days.
