For those of you wanting to know the color combinations and how they work. They seem to act like a pendulum. Going from color 1>2>1>3>1>.... so on and so forth.

The color combinations are
1. Black and Blue with Purple accents
2. Purple and Orange with Yellow accents
3. Blue and Neon Blue with Purple accents.

There may be better color descriptions that mine, but hopefully that gives you a general idea.

It seems that the pendulum swings ever 15-20 seconds.

It can be casted while falling.

confirmed still working as of today 08/04/17. idk why its downvoted. be mounted first.

For those of you wanting to sync your pet Twilight's color change with this mount just summon your pet and mount at the same time. Their color patterns start and change in the same sequence whenever first summoned.

Handy information for hunters that want to tame a panthara, there is no exact colour match of the pet. Tameable pets don't have brighter paws. Closest to the mounts are:

1. Purple & Yellow Panthara
There is only 1 pet with that look, and the only purple-ish look. It is in Mac'Aree: Panthara shadowfang. It's the least similar pet-mount combo colour-wise. Mount's coat is dark grey with black plating (?) and with purple accents on it's tail and paws. Pet's coat is purple with black plating and yellow accents.

2. Yellow & Green Panthara
There are 2 pets with that look, both in Krokuun: Panthara apex and Panthara stalker. Pet has green underbelly, eyes and feather (?) accents, and the plating is brown and not dark green like the mount.

3. Blue-Grey Panthara
There are 3 pets with that look, they are in Mac'Aree and in The Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon: Manafeeder panthara, Shadowseeker panthara and shadow stalker. This look is actually the closest, if not identical, to the mount colour together with purple/pink-ish accents.

Will probably get downvoted but I just gotta say that there's something wrong with this picture. We're already paying $18 a month for the subscription but Blizz seems to think we need to pay more for these mounts. It just feels like a money grab from a multi-billion dollar company that can easily afford to just give us these mounts through some kind of in-game questline or achievement. Make it hard to acquire them even. But charging us more money on top of what we're already paying just spells GREED.

Made a macro that will summon Twilight when you mount and dismiss him when you dismount so the colors are always synced:

/dismount
/cast Luminous Starseeker
/summonpet Twilight
/dismiss Twilight {dismounted}

I found the sequence to be:
Blue-Purple-Blue-Yellow-Purple-Blue-Purple-Yellow-Blue-Yellow-Purple

I tried to divide it with logical segments, it's not perfect so don't look too much into it:

Of course having this sequence repeating for me could be pure luck, so feel free to verify by yourself by viewing it in the store.
