Just killed two bosses standing at 87 marks, just aim for them.

Droprate from Sentinax Portals is awful. But the lieutenants will drop 40-60. So aim to kill them.

Elite beacons (blue - mobs with 10-15m hp depending on ilvl) will drop 5-10 while boss drops 40-50 (everyone in party got either 46 or 48). I did 2 boss portals and 2 elite portals (alot of competition to tag even as party) to get it done.

What I did was kill the boss and use the WQGF to find another party that had either elite portal up or boss up, did it in about 5-10mins.

got 100 in 10 mins its totally upto RnG but blue portal , bosses drop 30-60 I got 48 from boss

Reminder that the different "Attack Beacons" that drops for Senitnax mobs/bosses also has a chance of dropping these. Have gotten around 2-3 marks from every beacon.

Didn't have much luck with the drop rate, the demonic lieutenant only dropped 36 Marchio della Sentinax.
Got 4 from using Segnalatore d'Attacco: Corno Celeste but none for using Segnalatore d'Attacco: Rifugio di Cantastella (only nethershards)
and 1 - 2 from killing sentinax elites

edit: looks like this has been improved, doing this quest with an alt right now and was able to loot them from non elites, too! Elites dropped more as well. Thank you Blizz!

I had no problems on my Hunter, shared kills.

Log my Dru and ... ffs tab kills and no party's! As soon a mobs spawned tabbed and no loot.
Even if I put Starfall down in front of a portal the mobs get tabbed and hp bar turns grey and I get no loot!
Just had to wait for 3 bosses to spawn

This would be ok if it was the Horde, but my own side! Come on Bilzz ...

About the quest itself - stupid/lame. Why? Cause its hin-n-run. like 20 people stays up in air afking waiting for someone to summon some elites, kills, does the same. cause they dont have/dont wana share they own summon scrolls. yea, old spirit remains in blizz veins to make it "one farms, works, someone just hits once and gets same lewt as hardworker" DAFUH?

Hmmm, kinda thought this might be the opening to the class hall mount chain, guess not. As a stand alone, no way is this worth the time and effort for the measly 38 gold reward. In 2+ hours under the Sentinax, only one time did a Lt. spawn, so it was a shizz ton of work to get the other 65 or so. Don't bother.

Drop rate is very low. Rare portal elites will grant 1-3 Marks, while Lieutenants are anywhere between 30-60 marks. The quest, upon completion, grants 1500 reputation with Armies of Legionfall.

A couple tips: Don't put this quest off. A lot of people are gonna be attempting this quest over the next couple days, so now is the time to try. Putting it off will just turn this quest into a full out grind. Hang out under the Sentinax and watch for elite portal spawns. As players will be burning their beacons en masse, it shouldn't take long. If there isn't much activity in your phase, relog to rephase. Relogging brought me from a phase with zero portals up to a phase with 15+ portals up and plenty of elites to kill.

After far too long trying to get 100 marks, no more than 3 were obtained per boss or elite. These 30, 40 or 50 + that you lot are referring seems a fantasy.

I'm not a mad person in general & I love WoW.
Without doubt this remains the best MMO in my eyes of all time.
But this quest.....this quest can....the person behind this quest can.....you know what if I type what is in my head I'll get banned from Wowhead.
I don't like this quest.

Suramar had a fantastic story with great characters for those of us who actually read the quest text. By far one of the best zones is WoW's history in my opinion.
The Broken Sure so far is a Korean MMO.
That's the best way I can put it.

I'm going to try and be nice. Dear Blizzard, we players are blessed to have the quest "Mark of the Sentinax." And the Divines willing, we will NEVER be blessed with this quest ever again. 😘

Enjoy! Seems that the droprate has just been fixed! I have just done the quest, and Mark of the Sentinax dropped from every demon, even the smallest. It took like 10 minutes for me to get 100 marks and complete the quest.

From my experience dropped of Elite bats as well, none from other elite mobs, so just locating portal were bats are coming and AoE on top of it. If Blizzard could make it free for all tag - would burst the process a lot,

It helps to use the group finder and custom groups for "Sentinax". There aren't as many groups being formed anymore, but if you are on at a fairly busy time you should find a few. Look for a group with less than 5 people. Converting into a raid group won't allow looting of the marks. I was able to do the quest easily this way, once I found a group with 4 members.

DO NOT USE CUSTOM PREMADE GROUPS - you must have at max 5 people in your party or your group will convert to a raid and nothing will drop.
For this reason, use the Quest Premade Groups.

The Sentinax is the Legion ship on your map of the Broken Shore.
The weird heads on the map are the Sentinax elites.

Portals spawn on their own under the ship, which spawn mobs that drop the "Marks of the Sentinax".
The wait for portals to spawn can take sometimes as long as 5-10 minutes.
You can wait, however, it may be easier to use the beacons.

Beacons drop from the Sentinax elites, or just mobs outside of the Sentinax area in the Broken Shore.
By using a beacon within the Sentinax area, portals will be summoned.

To use a beacon, move to under the ship and you will see a "Shadow of the Sentinax" debuff applied.
Then, right click the beacon to use it, and the portals should spawn. Beacons are one-time use only.

Hope this helps some of you - I hated figuring this out.

Running this with full groups for 2 hours and not a single #$%^ing one of them has dropped for me. I've seen 4 entire groups come and go to completion, but I'm not even getting ONE.

Am I missing something? Am I supposed to have something in my bags that I don't? Does this item even appear in inventory, so I can @#$%ing count them?

Because for some reason the quest designers are either braindead or incompitent, I'll have to explain how you complete the quest for this.

First, you need 250 Nethershards. Next, you need to go to Warmage Kath'leen at Deliverance Point, and purchase a Nether Portal Disruptor.
Next, find a Nether Portal.
Once found, interact with it, then an enemy should spawn. Kill that enemy.
Loot the enemy for a Sentinax Beacon.
Use the beacon.
Follow the beam to the portal, and kill the mobs that come out of it, they'll drop Marks of the Sentinax.

How I got these as a level 50 in Shadowlands. First I went and killed some mobs under the Sentinax and got a quest item which I turned in. Then I went around and killed the rares on the broken shore (green heads on the map). They drop summoning items IE: Sentinax Beacon of Engineering. Then go back under the Sentinax and use the beacons to get the marks
