Does not seems to be consumed when finishing the monk class mount. Not 100% sure if this can be safely sold to the vendor (13 gold). It does give +5 to Luck though ;)

As it is a white item i would not have much faith in it needed to complete any farther Class quest progress and neither does it seems like a quest item that it is in our bag after it bugged. So there are 2 thingies i thought of:

1) Blizzard is bringing us a new system of lucky items
2) It is just blizzard trolling us.

This is one of those items that you keep for years and years and see if Blizzard does something with it.

Yes, it is totally useless at this moment of time.

Edit: You know those type of mobs in Pandaria that ride yaks and such and like traveling? They often talk about luckydoes, some of them even say the following: "What's your Luckydo?". That worth checking if this item has something to do with them. Also, it seems a bit suspicious that description of the icon of this item is "trade_archaeology_spinedquillboarscepter", might have something to do with archaeology.

Maybe this one actually does something? In the first two hours after I did the quest to get this item I got Smoldering Egg of Millagazor, Smoldering Treat and Smoldering Treat all in one run (my second run ever of Firelands), and I got Anubisath Idol and Jewel of Maddening Whispers in the same run (third time ever in Tempel of AQ). Never been this lucky before.

Not sure if I should vendor this thing after getting my mount, I took this into a PuG Heroic Antorus Run.

Smoothest run ever, got 6 Epics and 2 Legendary.

Say what you will, I am keeping this thing in my bag until the end of days.

I had quit for 6 months and came back. that first week back I pulled Invincible, Mimiron's Head, 2x Blazing Drakes, and a Blue Drake. I checked my bags JUST NOW and realized I still had this in my inventory. Not saying those events are linked, just saying I've never had luck like this prior and think what you want. That's the best part of items like this, they always leave you wondering! Happy hunting.

I'm one of the richest players in-game for US realms and wanted to test this theory. I bought 15 of them on Stormrage and tested them out.

20+ mount runs, 2 argus reg kills 2 argus heroic kill full clears, mythic dungeons, heroic dungeons, and more with them in my inventory. Got nothing. Sadly, these are not worth getting =/

Might not be related at all but almost immediately after completing the quest chain and with this still in my bags, the drop rate for my panda monk increased markedly. Normally I'd hear my panda drop 3 farts a day at most, but now it's around 10! With an increased drop rate of over 30% I can only put it down to the luckydo - number is roughly right too when you consider it does say +5!

I can't attest to the truth behind the +5 Luck, but I got two legendary drops, Condensatore dell'Imperatore from an invasion portal boss on Argus and Cinidaria, il Simbionte from a relinquished token, on the same day.

I am not usually superstitious, but late one night when I couldnt sleep I nearly vendored this. I looked it up and came across this wowhead page and various people saying it was lucky. What the hell, I'll go farm Lich King.

I had been casually farming Lich King for a few years. When I say casually, like 2-3 times a month on my main only (priest). Low and behold, that was the first time I took my monk in there, and Invincible dropped. My priest had done 32 times, my monk once.

Maybe there is something to this.

So I proceeded to farm other raid mounts for the next few weeks and I had a mount drop each week for about 6 weeks in a row. I then decided to trade it one day to my priest so I my priest could go farm it somewhere (i forget where or for what). Nothing dropped, and so I traded it back to my monk.

I haven's won anything since, although admittedly, I havent farmed seriously for more than 2-4 weeks.

Well during world quest in legion where you have to dig 10 lucky coins when i had this item in my bag i got all 10 in one try without digging out any enemies

Found this in my monks (that I almost never play) bags and not knowing how I got it I came here to find out if its even really lucky or not. After reading some of these posts I sent it to my shaman and went off to ICC, however sad to report still no invincible. But then I went to check on TLPD and do the Hyldnir Daily and was able to finally obtain the White Polar Bear after almost 800 attempts. So not sure if this is indeed lucky for mounts but after this I sent the Luckydo to my druid and ran a Timewalking Ulduar and got loot off every single boss.

EXPERIMENT

I just levelled a monk to learn tanking and for the mount and pet. I've had horrible luck with Rukhmar, the odds for getting the Solar Spirehawk are supposedly 6% since the patch but I've run over 250 times with no mount. I have all the other 1% rare mounts from that patch.

If I get the mount on the first try ...

My theory is that 5+ luck gives you a 0.1% increased droprate on all items. 5+ speed gives you 0.1% speed. But of course it could scale different and be as little as 1 promille 0.001%. It's so little so it can be be measured. But i'm pretty sure it increase your drop rate a tiny bit. So fx. if a mount has a 1% drop. You now maybe have a 1.1% drop or 1.01% drop or 1.001% drop. But it will also add drop to fx. a grey item that drop 30% chance. With the added luck 30.001%. But there isn't any data to confirm anything.
