Really enjoying the healing trinkets this xpac. Seems to make sense having an extra on demand skill seeing how Blizz went a bit overboard in cutting down/combining class skills. At first I didn't think I'd like this on my Holy Priest but boy I was wrong.

this trinket do ton of healing (assume you are standing still). and provide great shield after. as for druid this trinket is good for filling hard surgical heal if the swiftmend is on cd

Testing with a 925 heroic warforged one

This trinket CAN critical strike, it has 7 ticks and each one can crit. 494k ticks and 988k crits.
Haste will make the cast timer faster, but won't generate new ticks.
Velen's Future Sight WILL increase its ticks (568 and 1.136k) AND splash its heal for around 12k.
The heal does not scale with your int.

For restoration shamans:
This trinket WILL feed Cloudburst Totem.
This trinket doesn´t seem to be affected by our mastery.
Ancestral Guidance doesn´t seem to increase the trinket healing, but will splash the heal for about 98k.
Sense of Urgency (lust trait) will work, bringing ticks to 617k and crits to 1.235k.
Spiritwalker's Grace doesn´t work with the trinket, you will break it.

Tested as a Discipline Priest. Neither the HoT nor shield seems to be buffed by . It is affected by Visione di Velen's on-use 15% healing amplification, and appears to benefit from as Drappo della Vergogna's critical healing amplification.

Science: Tested on July 29, patch 7.2.5. Four scenarios:

No Grace, 915 non-Drape cloak, ilvl 928.8: HoT ticks for 423k, crits for 846k. Shield: 913k.
Grace, 915 non-Drape cloak, ilvl 928.8: 423k ticks, 846k crits. Shield: 926k (?).
No Grace, 880 Drape, ilvl 926.6: 427k ticks, 876k crits. Shield: 906k.
Grace, 880 Drape, ilvl 926.6: 427k ticks, 876k crits. Shield: 920k.

Random: Grace, 880 Drape, ilvl 926.6, but with Visione di Velen's on-use active: 491k ticks, 1mil crits. Shield: 1.1mil.

Notes: Does not appear to scale with Intellect. Doing napkin math showed that the only reason having Drape equipped boosted the tick amount was because the T21 cloak I was comparing it to does not have versatility, which incidentally also confirms that this trinket does scale with Versatility.

Unsure if this is affected by secondary part of Velen's on-use (the 50% overhealing redistribution), due to lack of testing.

Also not sure where the variance in shield amount comes from. All tested were conducted in Dalaran, out of combat, so there's no funky procs going on.

Thoughts: This trinket is somewhat niche for Disc in Mythic+, but absolutely shines within that niche. I've found myself freely able to choose between this, Grande Piano dell'Ingannatore, Medaglione Annerito della Sentinella, and of course Visione di Velen, which is the obvious choice. I use an addon called Opie to freely swap between the other three trinkets as the situation demands--Medaglione Annerito della Sentinella for longer, sustained damage fights like Serpentrix in EoA, Grande Piano dell'Ingannatore for ugly trash packs where people are liable to get one- or two-shot, and Archive of Faith where you know there'll be high incoming single target damage that your regular toolkit can't cover without cooldowns, like Tyrannical Shade of Xavius' Feed on the Weak.

Practically useless for raids unless you have absolutely no other trinket options.

crit is good for shaman and i still wouldnt use this thing
it doesnt benefit from my mastery at all which is the main stat for shaman healers
it uses up a global cooldown, and therefore can't be macro'd, and can't be cast while moving
the only good thing about this is the healing doesn't cost mana

if it had some intellect it might be worth it but as it stands this thing will be sitting in my bank, there are way better trinkets out there

edit: ALSO CAN'T BE CAST WHILE SPIRITWALKER'S GRACE IS ACTIVE

Tried it with my mistweaver monk and it is a lovely addition. Both raids, and mythic plus.
But having to stand still reduces its usefulness.

I find the trinket to beat, for monks. Of course your legendary trinket is a must.
