Drops from Gul'dan in the Nighthold.

I assume it drops from all difficulties (at least at Normal and above), the one I got dropped from Normal

We had two Demon Hunters on our Normal kill, however only one dropped. So it doesn't appear to be a 100% drop for Demon Hunters.

On Guild Master Loot we could only award it to a Demon Hunter, he could however trade it to whomever afterwards, and we could put it up on the auctionhouse.

This toy can be bonus rolled, was pretty surprised when I saw a non-epic item came up on the roll window. However I couldn't recall whether you can trade this toy if you get it from a bonus roll as I was too eager to learn it, Wowhead lists the toy as BoP but also provides a buyout price, seems a bit contradictory, it would be helpful if anyone can provide more information on this.

i got this toy a few weeks ago and always wondered what kind of demon it was until today. came across the same model of skull amongst a ton of other bones in stormheim by all those wolves on the other side of the bridge from valdisdall.

its a yak skull or a fel corrupted yak skull

I can confirm that this drops from LFR Gul'dan as well. I didn't get it but another demon hunter did.

Interestingly, the toy will refuse to function ("You cannot do that right now") if you're transformed into any other shape such as using the Orb of Deception or Leyara's Locket.

This toy is not trade-able if you get it, got it again now on heroic gul'dan but had it already and was unable to trade it to the other demon hunter in the raid that did not have it :(

With 8.1 returning the capability to queue into Legion LFR, I can confirm that LFR Gul'dan is fairly easily farmable as a Havoc DH. I am only ilvl 359 and it was extremely easy, never at risk of dying with the Soul Rending talent.

For those who didn't raid this during current content, the LFR wing you are looking for is called "Betrayer's Rise." You can queue for legion LFRs by talking to Arcimago Timear in front of Violet Hold in new Dalaran.

I can't confirm, but other Wowhead commenters are reporting that you can receive all of these items except Abyss Worm and Antoran Charhound from a Sigillo del Destino Spezzato bonus roll.

As of 9.0.2 this seems to be bugged. No matter what zone I'm in, even if I'm not in any costume/change of appearance, I get "You cannot do that right now."

As of patch 9.1. (today) the bug that was stopping this from being used since 9.0. has been resolved. It works again!

Got this toy today after the first attempt.
Update, after 5 mins I recieved the toy from Mythic difficulty, it dropped on Heroic as well. Interesting RNG system.

Toy drop confirmed for Shadowlands 9.2. As you would expect ran solo as a Demon Hunter in LFR. Queued for "Betrayer's Rise" from Archmage Timear in front of Violet Hold in new Dalaran. Just ran this weekly. Probably took about 15 runs. Tried a couple of times in Normal. Although Normal was easy Gul'dan is the last boss in the Nighthold raid and took too long to get to him for a chance at the toy

this seems to also be in the loot table for Evokers, not sure that is intended or not but acording to my rarity tracker its rolling for it when i kill on my evoker.

Eeeey, finally just got this on 11/15/2023, a week after 10.2 dropped. I got it on a level alliance 70 DH that I made a few months ago. More specifically, I got it from normal Guldan on a run where I skipped to the end via the arcane orb or whatever. It also came from the chest you loot after Guldan dies along with the other pieces of loot. I did not get this from bonus roll though I have been rolling whenever I have coins.

Over 100 tries, equally divided over the difficulties. Still nothing. I don't understand why even a class-specific item like this, has to have such a horrible low drop rate.
