It would be nice to know what the two proc chances are (chance for initial application and chance for secondary detonation) and also whether or not a HoT tick can proc the application and/or the detonation.

Got this today from the Nighthold timewalking cache... Both the HoT itself and the detonation work off Druid HoT's and seems to proc quite often.... going to be testing this trinket more but seems to be great for throughput.

Tested this on 3 first bosses of Norm NH, very underwhelming. Doing like 1% of my total healing as 890 equipped rdru

Edit: Healing is very low on normal, so it may be that, but still ~2% of heals per fight

Got it from Spellblade yesterday. Being a resto druid, I had this on my BiS list and therefore used it on all 6 bosses after her. Sadly, in its current state, this trinket is extremely underwhelming. Like someone else previously said, you're lucky if the healing effect goes at or over 3% hps on a fight.

Also I noted that I had only one effect related to the trinket (Nightwell Tranquility) in my logs. What I mean by this is that if it's the case, the healing explosion is either categorised under the overtime effect or not working. Either way, it's not good enough in my opinion. I am obviously not saying that this trinket should carry the healing meters but there's no way someone, as of right now, could justify using this over a haste-int stat stick, which I think is a shame. A minor tuning like the Cenarius Horn got would be most welcome in my opinion.

Got this trinket on my shaman and decided to mess around with it.

In its current state, it procs of almost any spell: Flame Shock initial damage, Lightning Bolt, Lava Burst, Ghost Wolf, Astral Shift, Ancestral Guidance, Spirit Walker's Grace, Healing Stream ticks, Healing Rain ticks in addition to Riptide, Healing Surge, Healing Wave, Gift of the Queen, Chain Heal, and Healing Tide and its ticks.
These are the only ones I've confirmed, as there may be even more ways to proc it.

That being said, the healing from the HoT is a little low, but when you "detonate" it, it will not remove the HoT from the target.

I got this from the cache as well, it procs a lot but its healing seems way too low. Represented around 1.5% of my total healing (Holy Priest) on the first 3 Nighthold bosses. The triniket from heroic Dragons does like twice that amount for me, being 10 level lower.

Atonement will proc this trinket's effect - very promising item for disc, 3 target testing seems to net around 10% of overall healing

If my paladin could pick it up with loot spec set to Holy, would the effects work if I wore it in Protection spec? I'd only be healing myself, so I'd expect it to only apply the effect to myself; any splash healing from the detonation would be gravy. Just wondering if a healing trinket would somehow be "deactivated" when not in a healing spec.

They just buffed this trinket today (1/24/17). Might want to try it out again to see if it does better for you.
This is what Blizz's blue post said about it:

Aluriel's Mirror: Healing-over-time amount increased by 140%. Detonation effect reduced by 35%.
Designer Notes: Aluriel’s Mirror’s detonation effect is strong when it activates, but hard to rely on. We’re increasing the heal-over-time effect significantly to improve the up-front value of this trinket, and reducing the detonation effect slightly to compensate.

I've tested this trinket post buff as a Holy priest, and it accounts for roughly 3-4% of my healing during my heals in raids & in m+ depending on procs. Still seems under-tuned in my opinion.

Just picked this bad boy up today, rolled an 875IL on it.
I have it currently paired up with Lenti Riflettenti Concave
In one complete run of Emerald Nightmare I had 812 procs accounting for 5.3% of my healing
134 Ticks avg 46500
204 Hits avg 41206
695 Crits avg 60079

for a resto druid it seems under powered and due to the speed with which my spells tick and such, I have never actually seen the HoT on a target. Yet it is resulting in about 5% of my overall healing which is pretty good. It seems to proc off just about any healing that I do, even a pulse from my other trinket. I think it should be turned up a bit more on the detonation portion as that should be where the bulk of the heal should come from, I also think that having a trinket that out heals my Rejuvenation is kinda wrong, but that's just my 2 cents.

Playing as a Disc priest I was rather excited at the trinket when an 880 dropped for me during a farm run of normal NH. Looking through logs for all bosses until Elisande (her and Guldan are tomorrow), I had 70% uptime on this trink. With that uptime, the trinket only contributed 3.70% (51% overheal) of my total healing. Detonations were 1.58% (58% overheal). Numbers were taken today.

I think the only notable value in this trinket is the raw haste. I'll look through the numbers again when we start heroics and healing becomes more demanding. As it stands, I still wish for a mana trink.

Obtain this trinket along with Visione di Velen and you're golden in regards to healing with the only weakness being your mana consumption.

Be aware, that currently the trinket text on this site is NOT updated. There was a hotfix that bumped it's healing by 140%, and later another one (unnanounced) which further increased it's healing (don't have any confirmation, but most likely by making it scale from crit and/or versa). Currently, I have a 895 mirror and the tooltip gives 300k-ish value for the HoT.

That said, on my most recent heroic run it did a measly 2.7% of healing, making it on par with 870ish statstick.

I have this trinket and I am a resto druid and I recommend this trinket as of 7.1.5 buffs. With this trinkets reliable proc I can play around it well and save mana. I don't have a problem that it overheals a lot but I'm very careful about overhealing as all healers should (learn how much your hots heal!) this is a good mana saver! This trinket should be 15 ilvl+ above an int + haste trinket to be fully worth it. I got this trinket at 925 ilvl so it can be that. Celestial star map is the best trinket, then i would say mirror or any int + haste would be a good second choice.

Has a Brewmaster tested it yet if it procs for Celestial Fortune?
Would be interesting, if it did it would be better than all of the other tanking trinkets.
