This item is related to artifact warrior quest line for unlocking a new apperance in your weapon, which is dropped by Shar'thos if you have the apropiate quest.

Possibly a piece for the fury warrior hidden artifact appearance. If put with Teschio di Nithogg and Impugnatura del Dio-Sovrano it may create this hidden artifact appearance. Still have no clue if they are quest items or not, will update if I find this out.

You must be exalted with the Dreamweaver and Artifact reasearch lvl 5 for the skull to drop. I got it today while fighting as fury and with the Dreamweavers exalted. Not sure if you can get it while fighting as prot or arms.

Got it today from Shar'thos. Was in prot spec with prot loot specialization. Exalted w/ Dreamweavers and all that jazz (AK 13 at the time).

Seems to be 100% if you're exalted with Dreamweavers and at least AK5.

I killed Sharthos in fury spec with fury loot only Revered with Dreamweavers and did not get the item. This supports the fact that you will need to be exalted with them first.

Just got this without being exalted with Dreamweavers but I am exalted with Valajar.

I did it as Arms with Arms loot specialization and did not get it. Exalted with all reputations. AK 13.

I made sure to get to activate the world quest too. Did I forget something? I will try to kill him again.

Edit: A problem with server hopping caused my skull to appear in a different server entirely. In the middle of fighting him for the first time, I received gold from a kill. Thus, I could not loot it from the dragon's body. It should work for everyone else.

Seems that it's a guaranteed drop if you are exalted with the Valarjar. It dropped for me on the first try with revered Dreamweavers, exalted Valarjar and AK 12. Also note that you have to loot the corpse, it doesn't just show up in your inventory like the epic drops.

I confirm it's 100% drop rate u need to be exalted only with the valarjar (i'm at the begging of revered with dreamweavers).
Guys u need btw to loot the corpse of the boss to get it, it's not an automatic loot

Just dropped for me now (literally, on Draenor EU server Shar'thos' body is still warm). I have artifact knowledge 11 and was exalted with the Valarjar but only revered with Dreamweavers.

Dropped for me a few minutes ago. 26 points in weapon, ONLY revered with Dreamweavers (exalted with Valar'jar though), AK12. As others noticed before me, you have to actually loot the boss since the item doesn't appear at your screen like gold or other loot you might win. Happy looting :)

AK14, 25 traits, revered across all Legion factions, 3 beers deep. 2 kills and no drop. First time I killed him it didn't complete the quest, used group finder the second time and it completed.

Apparently you cannot get this item if you already killed the boss once the same week. I killed him a day ago (on the 9th) and I wasn't exalted with the Valarjar, so obviously it didn't drop for me then. The day after I hit exalted with the Valarjar (I'm also revered with The Dreamweavers) and I remembered about the hidden skin. So I went and killed him for the 2nd time, as Fury, with Fury loot spec, 25 traits, AK 14 and the item did not drop.

Since i've been reading all those comments about needing Dreamweavers rep also exalted i was kinda bummed. Turns out i just needed to be exalted only with Valarjar. Went to the boss as soon as i hitted exalted with Valarjar (I was also revered with Dreamweavers) and yeh the skull dropped. So its safe to assume that you only need exalted with the Valarjar.

Does this need anything previous in order to obtain other than Exalted with Valarjar?

I have 15 Artifact Knowledge, Level 28 Fury (Main Specc) 24 Fury and 18 Prot. Exalted with Valarjar, Revered with Dreamweavers. The Skull will not drop after killing 5 times. Is there any prior requirements in order to acquire?

Update: You can get this with Valarjar Exalted alone, Dreamweavers is not needed
Update: If you complete the World Quest whilst not being Exalted with Valajar, you will not be able to obtain it later within the week if you then Achieve Exalted with Valarjar and have to wait for the next time the boss pays a visit. (Learnt this the hard way, I opened a Blizzard ticket to confirm)

As I was hunting a hidden artifact appearance that I knew needed items from a few of the World Bosses, I went looking for a rotation list on them and didn't find one. Here's a list based on Wowhead's weekly posts that also includes if a hidden artifact appearance item drops from the boss.

Ana-Mouz has not spawned yet since the release of Legion as far as I can tell. Perhaps she will be like the other Suramar boss Na'zak the Fiend who spawned in addition to Levantus the week of 12/6? It looks like they are on a repeating rotation. I'll update this post if the rotation changes, Ana-Mouz is added, or there's another hiccup like with Withered J'im being up two weeks in a row.

World Boss weekly spawns are released on September 20, 2016.
9/20/2016: Nithogg (Drops Skull of Nithogg for Fury Warriors. Must have reached Exalted rep with Valarjar.)
9/27/2016: Levantus (Drops The Warmace of Shirvallah for Enhancement Shamans. Must have Artifact Knowledge to Level 4.)

I'm exalted with Valajar and honored with Dreamweavers and this did not drop for me.

It seems you need at least revered with Dreamweavers AS WELL as exalted with Valajar.

Learned the hard way that this only drops on your first kill for the week. Make sure you're exalted with the Valarjar BEFORE killing the boss for the weekly reward.

On another note, is anyone else annoyed at how some appearances are much easier to get than others? This appearance requires an exalted reputation and then two separate world boss kills that are weeks apart from one another. I mean, I guess I would much rather have this than RNG, but still, Frost DKs only need AK 4 and one world boss.

Edit: Silly me, I was thinking this couldn't be any worse, but I guess the Haft is RNG. Why is this appearance so much harder to get than the rest?

Just got this today, 4/27/17, I'm exalted with the Valarjar but not the Dreamweavers. This is the first of the 3 that I have gained. I was in Fury spec and loot spec.

As of June 27th 2017, you can now acquire the parts you need to create Ammazzadraghi by defeating Odyn in The Prova del Valore, on any difficulty.

I don't know why the drop chance says 100%. I'm exalted with all the Legion reps and have the other two pieces of the hidden artifact but I didn't get the skull when he died.

The loot is not actually per difficulty. I have been waiting a long time to get this, but if you just zone into Trial of Valor on Normal, kill Odyn, zone out, change it to heroic, you can kill them again. Same for mythic. LFR is doable too, but you must go to Dalaran to get the LFR wings.

You do need exalted still of course.
