To avoid further questions:
(*) This trinket has around 50% drop chance - you might just be unlucky ;)
(*) The school of the stun effect is Nature, so the fact remains that it has a slight chance of being resisted.
(*) The range is said to be 30yd.
(*) Even if the item is not unique, you cannot use two without triggering the cooldown of one another.
(*) The spawn of Prince Nazjak is rather slow, it may even be longer than 32-35 hours timer (very hard to make accurate calculations) - so be ready to wait... a lo(ooOo)ng time (it should also be taken into consideration that you are not alone to seek out the Prince, so the time to acquire Tidal Charm may take days, even weeks... be patient).

An advice for classes whom already posses abilities to interrupt and stun - do not farm for this item!
It may take weeks for you to acquire this item, and is not as useful to some as it is to others, so please reconsider and spare yourself and others the time spent to kill and loot.

What I did was take a low level alt out there, place him in the spawn area and just log onto him every so often, got it with very little effort in about 5 days.

I recommend a /target Prince macro, makes him much easier to find out if he has spawend or not.

Got my Tidal Charm yesterday after parking an alt in the spawn location with a /target Prince macro. I'd been checking periodically for a few days to see if the Prince was up, and finally caught him yesterday... flew my main over, killed the Prince, got the loot.

Also, I'm pretty sure as of 1.13 the /target command is being nerfed, so the /target prince strategy will no longer work.

This trinket rocks. I've got one on both my 60 druid, and my 39 warrior. For any sort of PvP this trinket is definitely worth having.

Notes: The easiest way to get this is to park an alt in the water where he spawns, and make a /target Prince Nazjak macro, log over whenever you feel like and see if he's up. Pretty common drop for him, I was able to get them on the second try each time.

Nazjak is not on an 8 hour timer like other rare mobs. I know because after killing him 6 times, i've never seen him respawn on time 8 hours after. :x

It took me three days of checking three times per day. I found the Prince in the "bunker".

The trinket has been nerfed after TBC with "Chance to fizzle against targets over level 60.".

Just got my the trinket last night..took about 1 month but is well worth it. Not sure what the spawn time is though. I can tell you that the best method is to sit a low lvl toon out there and make a /target prince macro.

Prince Nazjak is a level 41 rare mob naga found roaming the Drowned Reef in the Arathi Highlands.

He is on a 32 to 48 hour respawn timer.

The item still exists, and EVERY time you kill this guy you have a new change (42 - 47%) for the drop. You can be lucky or unlucky, e.g.: "Killed 4 times no trinket", or "Got it on my first kill".

If you are going to look for him go to Arathi Highlands, coords 23.87 and make a macro /target prince, and spam it.

If you really want this trinket, you should place an alt there, or a lower level rogue who can stealth and die there, when he is in the ghost form he can still do /target prince.

If you do plan on farming this for 39/49 bracket, you should check the spawn every 12 hours from when you kill it, if it passes a tuesday add 3 hours to the time you are checking. It will spawn either 24/36/48/60 hours after you killed him. Here's how long it took me.

First Kill 4/20/07 -- 7:30PM Friday Night
Second Kill 4/22/07 -- 6:55PM Sunday Night
Third Kill 4/28/07 -- 10:12AM Saturday Morning
Fourth Kill 4/30/07 -- 10:52AM Monday Morning
Fifth Kill 5/4/07 -- 12:50AM Friday Morning -- TIDAL CHARM

Life saver for any enhancement or elemental shaman who is not specced in restoration ... The 3 second stun allows one healing wave, along with the tauren's War Stomp it should allow to do a lesser healing wave too :) Sweet item

I had no idea this item existed as I was exploring the area. I saw an Alliance warrior, killed him and then killed the prince. I realize he must have been pretty angry that I swooped in and took his item, which makes it all the sweeter for me.

I got the Tirdal Charm today and i went directly to BG. I went to Arathi Basin (level 60- 69) and it worked fine. But it got recisted once tho... used it about 5 times (was in AB two times).

Figured I'd give it a shot and see if Prince was there. Indeed he was! And he dropped this for me yesterday. I am on a low pop server so that probably helped things :)

Definitely a trinket I will never get rid of. If nothing else, you can freak someone out when you use this on them. They will probably have no idea what it is!

Using the charm will not break your shapeshift (druids). Horde druids could potentially stun for up to 9 seconds (pounce +brutal impact/tidal/warstomp)

Just got this today on a new toon of mine
lvl 38 my guide said to go to southshore so i flew over
remembered this guy had the pro trinket and rode over to him
it must be by luckiest day today

1. He was there
2. It dropped first time
rather then "farm" i recommend that turn up randomly approach

Also he is a really easy kill for anyone lvl 37 + that has a ranged attack
you can pull him with one add through the window

I resieved this for my 59 ret pally twink, and man is it amasing. I now have a 'free' 15 minutes stun for those nasty flag runners.

As for pally with Seal of Command, this does count twords the bonus spell effect. Very useful for stun locking and making someone very angry. >:)

It's very usefull for enhacement shamans which can't stop ppl... 3s can be enough for windfury proc.

As most people say on my server that this is a useless trinket for Rogues, I disagree. When blind is on Coolddown, I can pop this when needed and Vanish then repeat my chain stuns.
This is a trinket useful for about any class really. Not a long stun but enough to get some extra hits in and maybe a quick heal

guys can anyone tell me, is this mob spawn every 34 hours FOR SURE or he is a rare mob and he MIGHT spawn everything 34 hours ?
because I've been searching for him for 2 weeks now and nothing I can find, I dont think people are waiting for him to respawn and kill him immediatly, because I'm in a Recommended realm.

Ok so i got some news. I'm on a very small server and i can ensure you I'm the only one farming this trinket (for my twink). And I've heard the spawn time is between 36-38 hours. And i can confirm that to 100%. BUT! If your server ever shuts down, dont bother going there for the next 36+ hours. The spawn timer will reset... I was 8 minutes away from my kill when the server got shut down on a wednesday. When i logged on the day after it still hadn't spawned! The day after that, the server shutted down again. It was up again at 8. I decided to wait 35 hours and 50 minutes (10 minutes before spawn if it was as i thought). And look at this screen shot.

I ran around using this macro and as you can se on the clock, it spawned at 19.02. Pretty exactly 36 hours after the server went up again. So if your server shuts down, just dont be bothered to go there before at least 36 hours ^^ Hope i helped and sorry for poor english.

Picked up my Tidal today at 7:30 PM and wanted to add a few things to the wealth of information already here.

1) As I was swimming toward the ships off the west coast of Arathi Highlands, I saw a blue flash under the water, and seconds later my /tar Prince macro hit gold. His spawning could be accompanied by a blue flash, it seems likely as there was no one else in the area.

2) There was a CONFIRMED killing of Prince Nazjak less than 24 hours before my kill. At roughly 8:20 on the night previous to my kill, he was spotted and killed by a player in my guild belowdecks on the western ship. From this I can confirm that, while low, the spawn time is not always 34-36 hours.

3) After swimming around for a couple minutes unable to find him, I checked the ruins. He was in the southernmost room, the only part of the ruins with a roof. He was in the back of the room. I will update with coords ASAP.

i got this trinket on my lvl 60 twink Shado priest and SV hunter and i can tell you this is an extremely powerful trinket .. for range classes such as hunter and priest . i was already able to beat 70 lvl+ players and now with this trinket its just a piece of cake :) !

Can anyone confirm this is still dropping as of 4.0.x? I've been spawncamping this poor guy for some time now, and all I'm getting is random 'Pants of the *random enchant*' items. Call it bad luck, but I find it odd that a level 28 rare mob would be dropping an item that requires level 36...

EDIT: I've looked it up on the armory, and there are no mobs listed under the 'dropped from' tab, which leads me to suspect this item is no longer obtainable for players.

From someone that has possessed more than 4 tidal charms, I've currently killed him about 7 times within the last month without a single charm. I believe it no longer drops..

Spoke to a GM today as i wanted 100% confirmation of the status of this item.
The GM confirmed for me that the item is no longer obtainable since the cataclysm. :(

This trinket has been unobtainable since cataclysm.

Prince Nazjak had a 50% chance to drop it. He is still in game but no longer drops the trinket.

100 kills on 09/5/2023 and no drop. probably not added back to his loot table
i didnt try to farm Occultista Liscaguzza or Incursore Liscaguzza
i did do the quests in the area to see if they added the trinket to the reward
