This Toy, Vilspargitore Tascabile is available EXCLUSIVELY during the Legion pre-expansion event. It is obtained by using any ability or item that allows you to detect demons, and then speaking to a Doomsayer.
Ways to detect Demons (and reveal these Infiltratore del Terrores) include:

Visione Maledetta di Sargeras (ANY Leather, Mail or Plate class)

Drop from Illidan Grantempesta in Tempio Nero. 20% drop rate.

Elisir Rivela Demoni (ANY class or spec)

Crafted by Alchemists from Sangue di Grommash x2 + Ampolla di Cristallo x1. Also may be available on the Auction House.

Vista Spettrale (Cacciatore di Demoni ONLY)

Cacciatore di Demoni ability with a 10 second duration and 30 second cooldown.

Individua Demoni (Cacciatore ONLY)

Cacciatore ability which can be toggled on and used indefinitely. Note that the Doomsayers do not show up as demons on your minimap, but you will be able to see the option to turn them into demons with this ability.

When using any such ability/item, the Doomsayer will sometimes have the dialogue option "There's something not quite right about you...". Selecting this option, when visible, will change the Doomsayer into a Infiltratore del Terrore, which can be killed and looted to obtain this Toy. Note that the Toy is NOT a guaranteed drop, but has a roughly 25% drop rate.

Note that each Doomsayer is distinct, so while your Demon-detecting ability is active, you should be checking as many Doomsayers as possible for the dialogue option.

Vilspargitore Tascabile is not Bind-on-Pickup, and can be bought/sold on the Auction House. Blizzard has noted that it will be available for a limited time (i.e. only during the Legion pre-expansion invasions) similar to the Cucciolo di Vilpipistrello pet.

With the Legion achievement Ricorda di condividere (which awards the mount Estrattore di Legna Meccanizzato) requiring 300 toys, this as well as other new toys will be highly sought after!

At the time of the other comment on this page, I'm sure the source wasn't posted at the bottom of the toy so even though blizzard doesn't tell us how to get it, the source will apparently be a drop from Infiltratore del Terrore.

I say apparently because even though that is currently the labeled source, blizzard and wowhead do like to play games with people and give them false leads.

Most likely related to the "Dark Whisper" part of the Legion pre-patch event. Dread Infiltrator is the model used for Give into darkness, and also the source of this drop.

It is probably rewarded for either turning into a dreadlord or killing someone that has turned.

I have not tested this.

Edit: It seems like I was mostly wrong, Jeremy Feasel has confirmed on twitter that the source or trigger for the "Dark Whisper" event is the doomsayers, if you get a whisper it means that the doomsayer is a dreadlord. So it is related to the "Dark Whisper" event, but not the way I though.

I did have this item drop from a Dread Infiltrator during the early part of PTR testing. I looted it directly from the corpse. When I checked with others who were present for the kill, they indicated there was nothing on the corpse for them so it may be personal loot and not a 100% drop chance.

Demon hunters Spectral Sight is required to find the Dread Infiltrator. Talk to a Doomsayer during it and sometimes they will have another option to choose (not a pamphlet).

Had 16 mil HP and uses the same abilities as the dark whispers dreadlord.

If you talk to a doomsayer while Spectral Sight (Demon Hunter only) is active you will sometimes get an option that says, "There's something not quite right about you.." once you select that, the doomsayer will immediately turn into a dread infiltrator, It hits very hard and most likely cannot be soloed.

EDIT: It seems that it's quite common for all the doomsayers to not have this option. I'm currently farming them and will report back with any additional information if I find something.

Also if the dread infiltrator gets reset it will de-spawn back into a doomsayer and NOT have the option again.

Just killed a Dread Infiltrator with no demon hunters in group. A Rogue with the Cursed Vision of Sargeras leather helm from Black Temple was able to get the "There's something not quite right about you.." option from the Doomsayer. There are 14 Doomsayers, keep checking them, it appears their chance to give you this text you want refreshes on them every 15 minutes, just like the pamphlets. You don't have to take the pamphlets, it will reset on it's own to give you the extra dialogue option. We just confirmed this in a group repeatedly checking them without taking the pamphlets and got the option several times.

The Infiltrator hits hard, about 16 million heath. He does a slumbering fog that if you step in (it floats around) puts you to sleep and does 7k damage for 4 ticks and a vampiric cleave that hit me for 230k. He also does a mind control on party members where you have to get them to 50% health to break them out.

Update: Elixir of Detect Demon from alchemy CONFIRMED myself works and as bloopbleep commented it seems any type of track/sense Demons abilities work for this.

Update: Got the toy after 8 kills in a party of 5. Submitted a screenshot of me using it in my garrison and it dropping for me. Also it appears the hotfix tonight fixed it so you no longer have to be only in a party of 5 to receive loot. It looks like it's just multi-tap now.

I created a group and invited 4 Demon Hunters. I had each of them use their Spectral Sight, attempt to talk to the Doomsayer to unveil the second option of text. When it failed, I had them fly in the air, fall, kill themselves (thus resetting the CD of Spectral Sight), and then I would rez them. We attempted doing this for a solid 15 minutes. It was a few hundred tries. Results: Nothing

Elisir Rivela Demoni also works for this! It allows you to see the special (otherwise hidden) dialog interaction with a Vate della Rovina, which when you click on this special dialog, spawns a Infiltratore del Terrore, which can drop a Vilspargitore Tascabile. Not all Vate della Rovinas will be a Infiltratore del Terrore in disguise though - so be sure to visit them all, and keep checking back.

Can 100% confirm that Hunter's Track Demon works to find the Infiltrator too. It won't show up on your minimap, but will give you the 2nd dialogue option.

Demon Hunters and Hunters can see the dialogue to spawn a Dread Infiltrator spawn innately with their abilities (Vista Spettrale/Individua Demoni) when it's available and they're active.

Any Plate, Mail, or Leather wearer can see it with Visione Maledetta di Sargeras's effect active. (Percepisci Demoni)

Anyone can see it with Elisir Rivela Demoni active.

However, what actually triggers the dialogue to show up is unknown, these are just the methods that allow people to see it when it is available.

For those of you sharing groups in custom group finder, raids absolutely do work. I was in three raid groups that each downed and infiltrator, and in each raid, more than one person go the toy. Please open up the group to a full fourth raid and spread the love.

This is ridiculous and just plain simple stupid. First the very option to get the mob to actually spawn/trigger is ridiculous...and to top it all the drop rate is abysmal. They apparently increased the chance for spawn and the drop rate but I've been sitting in SW with 39 other people and we have yet to see one spawn. Blizzard have outdone themselves once again...

Spent hours on my hunter talking to doomsayers (track demon works btw confirmed) and i finally got a Infiltrator to spawn and after nearly all my gear was trashed thanks to the many wipes we finally got it down and all i got for my trouble was 10 shards!

So this item is not a guaranteed drop and the time it takes to even find a infiltrator will guarantee that this toy will go for millions in the AH but perhaps that is blizzards plan all along :(

looks like blizz is still messing with the spawn formula. i just downed 3, and was almost in time for a 4th, within the space of 10min (Realm hopping in LFG). they seemed to spawn on all realms all at once (though different locations). not sure if this will continue to happen, or they were just forcing a spawn after the hotfix seemed to not do anything this morning.

I found a group in premade finder with a raid size saying they had a spawn. I joined just to experience the kill, I was surprised when everyone in the raid received loot. This must have been changed in the hotfix this morning, so raids can kill and receive loot.

Have now encountered the Infiltrator 4x.

Once last night in the trade district, begun by someone else.
Three times today, twice in the Mage Quarter and once at the bridge before SW Keep.

All killed on a DK with the Detect Demon potion, never took the pamphlets.

Personal Advice Incoming:

Raid groups do not enhance your ability to find this. If all 25 people are looking for it on one server, that's a bunch more going unchecked. Personally, I circled SW using the tomtom macro shared here about every 15 min. Sometimes after a dungeon or BG.

Any time I found one, I would make a raid and fill before starting, assuming no one else did. Everyone else was able to see the dialogue to begin.

While flying around, I searched LFG for other groups with the infiltrator up. Joined two, both as he was dead.

Have gotten 1 drop of the toy. Working on a second.

Toy itself: Stains the ground/water green/black like fel for a few seconds. Kind of disappointed in how long the taint lasts.

I killed one Dread Infiltrator next to Stormwind keep which didn't drop anything else but Nethershards.

I decided to fly around with my Cursed Vision of Sargeras and gather some information about the respawn times etc.

My route is improved version of mortybs route with one waypoint fixed and added one waypoint in to the middle of The Dwarven District, because Wowhead does not list this one Doomsayer. I've searched around for more Doomsayers but was unable to find any more.

This is the information I managed to gather:
Disclaimer: everything is based on sample size of one Dread Inflitrator.
What I learned was:

Full run around all Doomsayers in Sw took me about 2 minutes 10 seconds ~

Doomsayer has respawn timer of 5 minutes or more.
Conclusion: if you take time to afk for a while or running your routine around SW for spawns, you will know if someone killed Dread Infiltrator while you were not there.

Dread Infiltrators can be "soloed".
As you press the dialog and speak to Doomsayer, they will turn into a Dread Infiltrator. You can tag him and start running towards guards or some other elites for assist. I moved towards less player populated areas so I wouldn't get salty if someone else cashed in on my effort of searching. Shoot me.

Dread infiltrators can be spotted if someone engages them.
Either watching for the under attack messages (most of them occur because of Dark Thougts dreadlord event), but worth to check out especially if they happen somewhere, where players normally do not gather. I also assume you see Dread Infiltrators on your minimap if you use some method to detect demons.

Can't confirm if taking the pamphlet will make you unable reveal Dread Infiltrators

When I revealed the Doomsayer which was a Dread Infiltrator, I got Dark Thoughts buff on my character, I removed it instantly. Later on I also received the buff and checked all Doomsayers without any luck of finding a Dread Infiltrator.

As I was writing this I ran my last rounds around Sw, WITHOUT ANY LUCK OF FINDING DREAD INFILTRATOR

Total time running was 1 hour 50 minutes

It's unlikely I missed him 3-7 times, assuming the respawn timer would be 15 to 30 minutes. As I should have seen the doomsayer missing. Only time I had some considerable down time (more than 20 seconds of delay on my regular run was when I decided to brush my teeth and fetched my toothbrush, which doesn't take long).

As I was finishing up this post and still flying around, I saw a dead Doomsayer, which should be Dread Infiltrator if it transformed. The Doomsayer was most likely killed by the Dreadlords spawning in Dark Thoughts event.

Will be adding speculation later on as I edit this post. Feel free to comment, add info or correct me.

EDIT:

As I've read info on 15-30 minute respawns, we have few options.
1. My method of research was flawed
2. I observed or interpret all, many or few of the events in wrongful manner
3. Dread Infiltrators do not spawn based on timer alone or based on timer at all. Which means some other triggers cause Doomsayers to trigger Dread Infiltrator event. Perhaps after they die as Doomsayers and respawn?
4. If Dread Infiltrators spawn is not based on time trigger but on some other event, could it be it is shared between the both faction capitals or servers, and only one of them gets a spawn during this 15 to 30 minute period? This would explain the irregularity on my sample.

After trying out some server hopping I observed that when I change server, all guards for example "despawn" and for a brief moment I can see two guards while the other one phases out and the new phases in. This same occurance doesnt happen to Doomsayers. This could explain the problem here.

Ruled out arguments:
~~You have to be in a group~~
~~You have to be in a raid group~~
~~Forgot to activate Sense Demon~~ I made sure multiple times I had it on, and reactivated it few times.

Confirming after 7hrs of farm finally on a Demonhunter i spawned one Dreadlord.. sadly only one toy dropped and it went to a guy i invited to help me.. RIP 7hrs.

Okay, camping the doomsayers in a raid seems to be the absolute worst way of looking for these. Don't do it. I spent three or four hours at it today and found none, left, started camping the group finder, and killed five in half an hour.

Droprate of this toy is pretty high. It's about 5-9 toys for 30-40ppl raid.

Tip for farm - do not sit in the raids and wait ages for spawn. Group with spawned npc creates each 10-15 minutes(eu realms).

p.s. dropped for me after 1 hour (from the 5th lord)

Found the mob 2 times within 15 min.
Assumptions:
1. A Doomsayer has a chance to proc beind "Demonic" on the server, available for anyone(with demon searching like abilitys) -> check all Doomsayers
2. Spawn of a Doomsayer after killing its demonic form is ~15 min -> check all Doomsayers each 15 min
3. Pamphlet has no influence on it, take it or dont, doesnt matter
4. Drop chance so far 10% (had 2 times 30+ raid, dropped only to 3 ppl each time)

I see a lot of players making "farm" groups for this in LFG. DON'T!

1. Stay on your own server and do rotations every 15 minutes
2. List a group in LFG if you have the option to 'summon' an infiltrator
3. Job done.

Having "farm" groups on a SINGLE server is pointless. It is better for you to stay un-grouped and do a Doomsayer rotation on your own server while keeping an eye on LFG for any infiltrator groups.

I've gotten over 20 32 kills with this method at the time of posting this. Good luck!

EDIT: Farm groups are actually viable now if you wanted to take that route. This was posted very early on before just as hotfixes were rolling in for the Infiltrators so at that time it was more efficient to do the above method.

I do not see anyone mentioning this but you can still take the pamphlet and still be able to see the clickable message for Dread Infiltrator. I say this because someone mentioned that you had to either have completed the achievment or not take the pamphlet for it to appear.

Obtained today at 9:46 am CST on Draka.
This was obtained on my level 1 bank alt. I died multiple times and ended up walking back to my body with it being dead. First kill on any of the legion guys and first time looting one!

I don't see this mentioned enough so I'm going to reiterate it:

Hunter demon tracking ABSOLUTELY WORKS!

Just go around on a hunter with demon tracking active. Then, no need to use spec sight every single time!

Also, the Doomsayers do not appear as demons on the minimap when tracking is active. All tracking does is make it possible for the extra dialogue option to appear.

This item seems too be glitched at the moment. Multiple servers haven't seen an infiltrator in hours, if at all. Blue text on the WoW forums saying there's a hotfix on the way, just don't know when.

I went to the Auction House and saw it being sold for 27.5 k gold. I immediately bought: a) the item itself, b) the time that would be wasted circling bored around Stormwind, c) the disappointment I would possibly feel If I didn't have the item by Legion launch.

PSA: You can easily pick this item up off the Auction House if you're not into the whole farming thing. The item itself is not Binds when picked up / Soulbound.

On my server they're priced at roughly 35,000 gold, but that's a supply and demand thing. Expect it to get lower in the next few days.

You do not need to be grouped to tag the Dread Infiltrators. I signed in this evening and immediately saw in trade that one was up. By the time I arrived, he had 10% health. I got one shot off on him before he died and he dropped the toy for me. What a nice surprise! :)

I never will understand why toys have such massive Cooldowns..., some of them have 1hour or more CD time, its bonkers, to the point where i hardly use any of them, since their CD are so long i forget they exist!

Toys CD should be 10 minutes max, and thats for some only, all of them should be on a 3 min CD.

1. Get Addon "Server Hop" (do NOT use Cross Realm Assist, it's much slower): https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/server-hop

2. Use search term "dread infil -farm -hunt" (add 'dread' in any other language to maximize your chances, for example 'schreck' would be the German term)

3. Wait until a group pops up, hope it's not one of the dozens of troll groups.

4. Click!

5. Receive toy (sooner or later).

I've been trying to find Dread Infiltrator groups with Cross Realm Assist all evening after they hotfixed the Infiltrators to spawn every hour and upped the toy drop rate and never got into any group because CRA is just too slow. Installed Server Hop, used this technique for 10 minutes, received toy.

I don't understand why they feel the need to have anything other than a 100% drop chance and a exact spawn timer on the mob. They are already making it exclusive and rare by having a time window on when you can obtain it, and a tiny one to boot! Why add the extra hassle and stress?

Here's a macro script modified from the Edge of Reality finder to help shout out if you find one with TWO gossip options. If you get a pamphlet this will not work until the hidden timer expires!

If you plan to keep farming after you get this toy, or you didn't get it, but the script triggered you will have to /reload before it will work again. This is a limitation of the macro size in resetting the nark.

Doing this on my LvL 85 Hunter alt for the permanent detect demons, and this is my guess of the way it works and it looks to be a grind.

(START)
Do the points and talk to each Doomsayer with detect demons on (do not take a leaflet) if you find a doomsayer with an extra dialogue option pick that then run - the guards will tank the boss - get a shot in - announce in general where the Dread Infiltrator is - kill it with the help of the city populus - loot - get 10 nethershards or the toy.

If you get to the last doomsayer without the extra dialogue - take a leaflet from that doomsayer - wait 15ish minutes until you can get another leaflet - click your macro and go back to start above.

Done this method a few times today and got 2 infiltrators in about 5 - 10 repeats - looted 10 nethershards each time so still looking.

It seems like they spawn in the same places when they spawn. I've been joining groups using PGF and its almost always had groups of spawns happening in the same location. Stormwind Keep Steps I joined in 4 kills there in about 5 minutes. Same with Old Town Canals. They spawn in bunches on different servers, but the same location.

After camping with a full raid of 40 players, one spawned in front of Stormwind Cathedral, and as I approached I got phased out. Half the raid could see him and the other half couldn't.

We're dealing with 3 levels of RNG here:
1. Spawn chance
2. Drop chance
3. CRZ phasing

No thank you. I'm buying one on the AH once the prices drop a bit more and calling it good.

As of 14 Aug 2016 I've just lead a party of approximately 20 players looking for an infiltrator for over an hour in SW. I was also the one to find it.

Alas, only 1 person got the toy and everybody else got shards. So I have no idea where the 24% and 66% figures come from.

I saw a dialog option i panicked and clicked it. I got feared almost immediately and the dread lord despawned with no 2nd dialog option.

Alright, I am at 22 kills total. I got the toy my first kill on the first day, and I added it to my toy bag. The last 21 kills over the past week no toy has dropped, only nethershards.

Can someone please link a photo to confirm that it is possible to loot a 2nd or more Vilspargitore Tascabile while having it learned already in your toy bag.

Can I ask that, if you decide to start a cross-realm group for this, add the district location to the title.

In the time it takes to be accepted into the group, players can then reach the correct area before the mob dies.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRACK DEMONS TO GET LOOT OR SEE THE GUY.

The tracking is only to make the option pop on the NPC. I just tried it on a mage with no kind of demon tracking potion or spell active.

Additionally, you can do it on any level you want to, as Legion NPCs scale with your level. At level 1 it will have around 17k health, level 5 30k.. etc

Essentially what you do is find a group and camp on one of the doomsayers in your main city using either an ability as a Demon Hunter / Hunter or an Elixir of Detect Demon. Although you can also use a Cursed Vision of Sargeras if you happen to have it as well.

If you don't know where to find a Doomsayer, there is one at this location in Orgrimmar http://imgur.com/JJZKjGt and one at this location in stormwind http://imgur.com/B8QNCzd.

Eventually after camping for a while you or one of the others in your group may see the message 'There is something not quite right about you' which should not be clicked instantly. Notify the group and when everyone gets there then you are free to click.

Upon clicking this dialog you will spawn a Dread Infiltrator which has around 16.5 million health, kill him with your group and you will have a chance to get the toy.

(Gold making tip: It may be worth while to hold onto it until far into the future as it may be worth a lot then)

The level you are doesn't matter for this toy to drop nor does the class or race.

So after a bit of farming these, here's what I experienced and could be maybe worth mentionning..

First, the second dialog option may disappear after a bit of time if you close the window and open it back up later (happened to me once though)
Second, the guy resets if an "ally of the legion" pops near the Doomsayer and aggroes it.

Edit: Since I posted this earlier today I have looted 6 Pocket Fel Spreaders. Not too bad.

Ok, proper etiquette for farming these.

1. Open raid finder, search for Infiltrator (or 'inf' for short).
2. If no groups are up go talk to a Doomsayer to see if he is a spawn.
3. After each Doomsayer, refresh raid finder so you don't miss any groups.

4. If you find a spawn, list in raid finder "Doomsayer Infiltrator Ready". DO NOT SUMMON YET!
5. Auto-Accept is best because a lot of people use addons like Premade Group Finder so your group fills up in seconds.
6. Mark him with a raid icon so people flying in know where he is.

7. Once you have enough people in your raid group, DE-LIST YOUR FREAKING GROUP!
8. Wait for everyone to arrive. Its not going anywhere so don't rush it and screw other people.

9. Summon and hope for a drop.

Hope this clears up any confusion. This makes farming these fast and easy.

announces in general, when the Vate della Rovina/Vate della Rovina you are talking to has the second dialog option, summoning a Infiltratore del Terrore. (with your location)

DoomsayerSayer also informs you if you are interacting with a Doomsayer without one of these abilities to track demons active:

This is my first attempt at making an addon - so hopefully it works for everyone :P
And hopefully it helps more people get their Vilspargitore Tascabile's :)

If you have this toy, place it under a boss in a Demon Invasion and see just how many people move out of it - thinking it's some sort of damaging AoE.

found my 1st enemy with potion and detect demons hunters ability. it took me 30minutes. and it dropped a toy. i kited him solo around AH in stormwind. some ppl helped me or maybe that was a ton of guards.

Now this appears to be unobtainable other than through trade or the auction house. Naturally lots of people bought some to sell later but the price will probably increase over time.
