Located on the mob "Thudcop Trunksmasher" he wanders around 35,29. (Just south across the water from the entrance.) EDIT - Fixed the name, I must have been up too late that night.

Though Thudchop is elite, and seems quite dangerous, he's quite the pushover.

He mostly relies on attacking with skills, which are easy to dodge, if you watch the dirt pattern.

He dropped it on the first kill for me. Maybe it was bugged.

This may be obvious, but you do need the quest from the leyline node before this thing will drop it looks like. I walked past this guy on my way to the node and was like "hmm let me look him up" and saw that he dropped something I needed to activate the leyline. Killed him 7-8 times before trying to go to the leyline first, he then dropped it first time.

There is some confusion here. go into the cave at 36, 24 and get the quest from a pillar. Go back out the cave and go due south across the water to that opening in the rocks. Thundchop comes up the trail.

This thing is not dropping after 10+ kills. 72% drop rate?

EDIT: You need to go to the underground Leyline, get the quest at moonfall, then go kill the Giant.
