Very low drop rate. Drop 1 green item 1 gray and some Felslate(BS/JC/ENG Reagent) mats for the 1st time i loot this item.

You can find good gear in these, I got an 840 heroic titanforged cloak Drappo con Lische d'Aringa with a socket from my first one. (nothing special after that)

Kinda disappointing so far, it procs far less than the other enchants. In 1.5 days of world quests I've had only 5 drop. Nothing of note in any of them, 1 had some ore, 1 had felslate the others grey trash

I tend to get ore from 80% of them, and about 40% of the time they seem to have both types of ore inside of them. Not sure if it makes a difference but I'm a miner/BS. Getting a felslate drop on my server, Stormrage, is worth about 2k. I make a killing off of these.

Got two to drop from one pack of owlkin in SW Valsharah but I'm pretty sure that was just really good luck. Drop rate is probably something like 1-2% from humanoids and demons.

Edit: I'm starting to think that these have some sort of cooldown applied to them that limits how many you can get in a certain time period. I get a couple in a row and then I'm dry for hours.

This has a very very low chance to drop epics also. Got 2 mythic items from a bag but they were leather and mail making them useless to me.

Been using this for a few days and it's a bit disappointing as it barely ever procs. Then I was in a Mythic Dungeon last night and it dropped me 840 boots. But they were leather and BoP so I couldn't do use them...

It's a kick in the face to see an epic and then have to vendor it 75% of the time if it's not the same armor type you use.
Isn't it a bit stupid to have epic drops with this not tied to your current loot spec?

I assume they've done it because it would be too strong an enchant if it drops stuff you can use no matter how rare, so why even make it like this in the first place? I thought it was supposed to drop follower armor tokens, I think I'd prefer that.

I've gotten 3 epic leather items from these things, and I'm a warrior. The first item was 850 and 2nd and 3rd item came from the same Salvaged Armor and were 840. They were all BOP.

Is anyone else getting the wrong armor type from these things?

Can confirm this gives mythic tier gear. Received a Vesti dei Parlaossa with an item level of 840 alongside 17 Vilardesia. Received the Armatura Recuperata itself from a Portatore del Caos Eredar in the arcway.

As a quick reference, here are the various boons you can obtain when reaching honored or revered with each of the main five Broken Isle factions:

Gives a chance to find Armatura Recuperatas which contain ores and junk armour.

Custodi (Revered): Dono del Cacciatore del Sangue 160g from Marin Alatagliente in Azsuna (/way Azsuna 48.2, 73.8)
Gives a chance to find Bottino del Cacciatore di Sangues which contain Sangue di Sargeras.

Plasmasogni (Honored): Dono del Mietitore 80g from Sylvian Cornacervine in Val'sharah (/way Val'sharah 54.6, 73.2)

Armatura Recuperata is a new item to Legion that is dropped by random world and dungeon/raid mobs provided you have the Dono del Recuperatore enchantment on your equipped shoulders. Dono del Recuperatore can be purchased from Valdemar Bramatempeste once you've reached Revered reputation with the Valarjar faction. The actual drop-rate for Armatura Recuperata is roughly 1-2%.

The Armatura Recuperata item, in most cases, contains 2-3 of the following:

0-3 Gray Gear (~90% of the time)
0-30 Vilardesia (~50%)
0-30 Minerale di Fagliaroccia (~50%)
0-1 Uncommon, rare, or epic gear (~25%)
0-3 Zolfo Infernale (~2%)
0-3 Sangue di Sargeras (~2%)

You can get a Armatura Recuperata that contains only grays (no ore or usable gear).
You can get a Armatura Recuperata that contains only ore (no gear) or misc. reagents.
You can get a Armatura Recuperata that contains more than 30x ore (I've personally got 37x Felslate from one).
You can get epic 840+ ilvl gear (albeit, very, very rarely).

You cannot get BoE gear from Armatura Recuperata. Usable gear will always be BoP.
You cannot get 30+ of two different ores. It will most always average to 30 or so total ores.

Gear you pick up from Armatura Recuperata is not specced to the character picking it up. Mages can pick up plate gear from these, et al.

Also, if you are farming Vilardesia, farming for Armatura Recuperata can actually be much more efficient than purely searching for nodes.

One day I got a 101 plate head 835 in this pack, it seems to contain every single legion plate armor that you can drop in the world (not dungeons, raids, pvp, afternoon by the pool, etc... items '^' )

The greys from this are not as useless as you'd think!
People buy greys i should know every Legion grey armor piece that i loot i sell and they go faster then you would think people want greys for role play or just for a laugh so don't just vendor them when you can sell them for way more!

The Mining Sword sword you can get from it goes for about 400g alone so your getting more then 20x more gold from vendoring.
I'm yet to get a mythic piece but i have faith! :)

After Shadowlands pre-patch (9.0.1) and doing some testing. I have confirmed the Legion shoulder enchants will work on the following:
* Legion content shoulders, including Legion legendaries, but only on level 45 or lower characters
* profession crafted green/blue BFA shoulder for level 45, but only on a level 45 character
* profession crafted green/blue BFA shoulder for level 45 on a level 45 character
* Heirloom shoulders, but only on a character level 45 or lower.
* Azerite shoulders from the War Campaign quest lines (the baseline iLevel 58 ones) on level 45 characters (I have an xp locked 45 speed farm druid who got their Heart of Azeroth before the Shadowlands released, with scavenger and bloodhunter on two pairs of Azerite shoulders and they continue to proc killing on the Broken Isles). These must be enchanted BEFORE activating the +5 item level azerite trait on them, as those additional item levels will push it above the maximum for the boons. ~~Unfortunately they can't be re-enchanted with a different boon as it gives the ... too high level message, but that character still receives cloth satchels and bloodhunter quarries.~~. To change boons on the Campaign Azerite shoulders, you will need to go to the reforger in Boralus or Zandalar and reset the traits. Then you can apply a new boon before activating the final +5 item level trait.

It is worth noting, existing boon enchants on shoulders that are now too high for it to have been applied will no longer function despite previously proccing before 9.0.1. The only exception I've found is those on level 45 characters.

Edit: Where prior to the 11/3/2020 reset, I was getting boon procs on my level 50 characters using enchanted Legion legendary and legion content crafted/dropped shoulders, I am now getting no procs after 2+ hours of additional testing.
I tested again on my xp locked level 45 character, and continue to receive boon drops of all kinds with a wide variety of shoulders from Legion Legendary, to Legion crafted, legion armor token created, heirloom AND even BFA level 45 green/blue upgraded crafted shoulders.

It appears all of the boon enchants have some kind of strange character level restriction attached to them in addition to the actual shoulder item level now.
