One can find these feathers, highlighted for clicking, in an eagle's nest near Odan Scagliaguerra (the flight master for the Rifugio Tirosaldo in Alto Monte). There were three (3) of them in a nearby eagle's nest and on the ground around it; however, clicking on multiple ones does not add any more to one's inventory, and these only last five (5) minutes in your inventory, so use them ASAP!

It is my belief that they are around the various Great Eagle flight points because said flight points are usually high up off the ground, so you fly in, grab a feather and glide down.

...or just stick with Aliante dei Goblin (Kit dell'Aliante dei Goblin for non-engineers).

One must have selected the Aquile Alleate from Survivalista Bahn's options to upgrade one's Hall in Tier II to click and use these feathers.

tl;dr version: These are very situational and must be used within 5 minutes..

These are perfect for hopping over to hang out on the fishing island with Margoss.

Be careful not to fly over some areas, such as the The Dreamgrove in Val'Sharah (it will port you to the ground) or PVP quest areas if you don't want to be flagged. You must jump first, just like the kite or gliders... cannot be clicked on the ground.

These work exactly like the Goblin glider kit. Once activated, lasts 2 minutes and right-clicking the buff will not grant you any slow-fall or reduced damage buffs (!). That said, you can always disengage shortly before impact or use the Avalanche elixir.

I thought the COH upgrade was slightly misleading- I thought I would get more flight-paths over the map. Given how cheap the Goblin glider kits are (and they don't expire, and you can carry many of them), I will not take this upgrade again.

Although you can only have one of these in your inventory, you can have several of these ready to go anywhere a mailbox is available by taking advantage of the loot system. When at any nest, if you click on the "container" feathers but don't take the item from them (walk away or close the window), after a few minutes the feathers will appear in your mailbox.

I LOVE these. Unlimited use, and because of the placement and height of Dalaran and Trueshot Lodge and the order hall port between them, you can use these to cover a vast area of the entire isles. Beyond those two, the eagle nests elsewhere "extend" the range of the feathers. Of course, Venti di Smeraldo can help greatly extend your range (or get you up high enough if you screw up eyeballing it).

The five minute limit also helps. You want to glide to any warden tower anywhere to kill the captain first? You suck at PvP and asshats on your server that would kill you the second they see you flagged for Rissa senza imbracature? Getting to Ci vediamo dentro? Need to get to Shar'thos? Lysanis Animombrosa? Any quest on Occhio di Azshara? Glide to Vrekt from Hafr Fjall? Trivially complete Esplora la Riva Dispersa AND easily get the flight points?

You can do it all!
