It may not look like much, but you can't argue with a vendor value of nearly 2 gold. It's also got a reasonably slow speed so it'll hit...not hard, exactly, but better than you might expect from a gray (which I know isn't saying much). But, if you happen to have, say, a 59 twink or a vanilla account toon (level 60) and someone of similar level is really !@#$ing you off, beat 'em in a duel with this equipped. They'll see gray in your weapon slot and go cry in a corner afterward.
