Item appears to only be usable in Azsuna. I'm in Suramar right now and using it returns a "wrong zone" error.

I got it to drop from one of the mobs in the floating ziggurat thingy where the rare rare Inquisitor Tivos was. Sadly it did not allow me to control any of the demons inside and kept giving same "wrong zone" message. I never tried it on the ground, perhaps it was just not happy with the demons in that specific location? It has duration of 1 day as well.

I got one and used it to enslave a demon; than a killed a few more; and recieved another; while I still had my other; and used the 2nd on another demon; and it DOES allow you to have multiple demons at once.

Allows you to enslave a demon for 3 minutes. The enslaved demon will have a -110% attack speed debuff during the time it stays as your minion.

These things are fisking worthless. I have yet to get anything from them other than "You are in the wrong zone" In every zone in legion. Broken pieces of crap.

From all the comments, I'd assume this item must have had a hot-fix recently, as it worked fine for me. It dropped on Faronaar, and worked fine on the big hefty demon, which hung around a while, and tried it's best to help fight although it was slow walking, and most of the time was too late to the fight.

What does interest me though, is that there's a couple of elite versions of this same demon next to a glittering chest on top of the mountain near Azurewing Repose.

At the time I let my minions tank the elites while I stole the loot and cheaped my way to saftey - but it occured to me this item might work just as well. Enslave one to tank the other, get the loot and run for it. Anyone tried this?

Was excited when I first got it but quickly found out that Its rubbish. Still have no use for items like this or enslave demon. Blizzard does not want locks with good looking models.

Have to play on a private server for that.

1) Turns a demon into a pet for 3 minutes (target the demon to see the timer debuff).
2) Usable and lootable only in Azsuna (specifically Faronaar).
3) Can only carry one in your bag at a time (unique item).
4) Can loot another amulet while enslaving a demon (you most likely will if you are questing in the area).
5) Can only enslave one demon at a time (as of 4/28/2018).
6) The big demons run slowly due to an auto-enrage spell. Turn it off by right-clicking the spell on the pet bar and then you can use it at will by left-clicking.
7) You can dismiss it by targeting the demon, right-clicking its portrait, and selecting "dismiss". It then becomes hostile again.
8) You can reuse another amulet to enslave it for another 3 minutes after it becomes hostile.

You lose the demon if you use the portal, so if you're thinking of beating the oof out of Tivos with an infernal, sorry.

This item has dropped for me a few times, while running alts around doing the Intolerable Infestation quest of the Legionfall quest chain to get their class mounts.

It drops in Faronaar near/around Illidari Perch.

I don't have much use for it, but for laughs, before leaving the area to return to Broken Shore to turn the quest in, I'll use it on a Netherflame Infernal elite NPC, get on a flying mount, and pull it along the ground. It will aggro other mobs, including Houndmaster Stroxis. I'll usually fly up to Illidari Perch and let the demon hunter guards kill whatever mobs the infernal drags along. The guards also kill the infernal too once the pet spell wears off. No real reason to do this other than a chuckle, for an item I'd otherwise just trash.
