Got this pet from a Inquisitore Vilanima in the Soul Vaults, a cave in the south end of Felsoul Hold, Suramar.

The Eye of Inquisition has a beautiful green aura that engulfs its entire body... errr... eye? It hovers above your character and even flies along with you on your flying mount. My new favorite pet that happens to match the green flames and transmog on my lock. What can I say? Even my pets need to match my outfit. ;) Dropped today off of a Fel Inquisitor. Good luck to all farming this pet!

I spent just over 5 hours killing Inquisitore Vilanima mobs before this finally dropped. Just a small tip to help speed up the farming process for others - make sure you get the Infusione delle Pietre di Faglia buff from the nearby Difesa di Faglia pillars for 10 Mana Antico. It deals a significant amount of damage and makes quite a difference in farming time.

I tried to only kill Felsoul Inquisitors while questing in Felsoul Hold, unless requested to kill something else.

The 6 Felsoul Inquisitors at the bottom (28.9, 81.6) are the main ones I killed. They are close together and seem to have the least amount of pats/other mobs around. You can just kill those 6 and usually nothing else.

Got mine after farming for 2.5 hours over two nights.

Edit: As of Patch 7.3, the pet is cageable and therefore can be purchased from the AH.

My circuit involved the following: (I listed coordinates to give a clearer idea of which direction to head next. The Felsoul Inquisitors will not be on top of you when you get to these coordinates, but they will be pretty darn close.)

Take the Shal'Aran portal to Felsoul Hold
At 29.39, 41.61, exit the building
Go down the side of the hill (mountain?). There are 4 Felsoul Inquisitors in this area. 3 of them are kind of close to each other at around 35.29, 79.22, and one is a little ways off at 33.15, 80.37.
Mount up (if you don't have flying yet, a Stonehide Leather Barding is a must if you don't want to be dismounted by other mobs. You'll have to ride a little further away to make the mobs leash if you don't want to deal with them. Then you can double back to kill the Felsoul Inquisitors) and follow the path up and left to 29.06, 80.67. There are 6 Felsoul Inquisitors here.
Then mount up and go up the long path that's being patrolled by the giant elite infernals. There's 1 Felsoul Inquisitor around 29.86, 70.63.
Mount up and go to the round island at 31.86, 66.37. There are 2 Felsoul Inquisitors there.
Right across the round island at 34.40, 67.99 is a ziggurat building thingy. There are 2 Felsoul Inquistors on the first floor and 4 on the second floor.

If there's nobody else in these areas who get to the mobs first, you'll end up with 19 Felsoul Inquisitors in one circuit. At the time I wrote this guide, there was no flying yet, and hoofing it from one place to another took long enough that by the time you return to your starting point, the 4 Felsoul Inquisitors have respawned. There's probably a more efficient way to farm these mobs, but the above circuit worked well enough for me.

This pet comes only in one breed, H/P (17). At level 25 it has 1465 health, 297 power, and 268 speed. Good luck!

Does anyone know if realm hopping works for these kind oif pet drops (like in a raid) or is it restricted. Just curious, as staying in the 6 inquisitor spawn and just realm hopping would work great! Just got it, was not in a raid. Just saying.

My best place to farm is at /way 29 82

There you kill 7 inquisitors very close each other. Just use realm hop and good luck!

260 Felsoul Inquisitor kills & still no pet for me. Come to wowhead to check the comments out only to find the "Dropped By" list has 7 other mobs listed now.

Can anyone confirm that had theirs drop off another mob that's listed. Thanks <3

I've been farming this pet about 45 minutes now and have been singing
"The Inquistion, let's begin

of course I got bored of that so I started channeling my inner Stygian Witch..."Give us the eye!"

My favorite place to farm was around 34, 40, the southwest area. About 6 Inquisitors outside and two more inside the small cave. Mine dropped after 221 loots from an Inquisitor.

The pet dropped for me after killing about 400 Inquisitore Vilanima, mostly inside Felsoul Hold, the 3 arranged around the fountain and the 1 across from them patting the hallway. I also picked up a couple of greens, and a purple and a blue item that gives artifact power.

I like the area around 29, 82 and the cave thereabouts, Halls of the Eclipse. After about two hours of running between the outdoor group and the mobs inside the cave, the Eye of Inquisition dropped off one of the Felsoul Inquisitors just as I was making my way back outside.

Got this after 582 attempts. It was actually more than that as Rarity can't handle AoE looting correctly at the moment due to a client bug.

29,82 - 10 x Inquisitore Vilanima (6 outside, 2 in the tunnels, 2 right down the bottom of the cave)
Run up the path east of Felsoul Hold where 2 x Frantumatore Vilanima are pathing
29,71 - 1 x Inquisitore Vilanima
30,66 - 1 x Inquisitore Vilanima
31,65 - 1 x Inquisitore Vilanima
34,67 - 7 x Inquisitore Vilanima (3 downstairs, 4 upstairs)

Go back to the start and they will have respawned.

Only annoyance is getting dismounted by those Felsoul crushers. You could use Bardatura di Cuoio Pellesalda.

edit: And I just noticed my post is very similar to Wegie. I think the difference is the cave at 29,82. My circuit has 20 x Inquisitore Vilanima. It does take a bit of time to run to the bottom of the cave so you might want to avoid that. I currently have 140% movement speed so it's not too bad.

So I managed to capture this one without even knowing it existed nor even looking for it. I was farming for the vicious broodling (for the broken isles safari) when this dropped from one of the inquisitors by the fel poop key finding quest. Guess luck was on my side. Happy hunting to all

The "cool factor" of this pet has gone away with one of the most recent patches. The eye used to permeate a green fel smoke that would leave a loooong trail after your toon, making it especially cool for Demon Hunters who had glowing green fel glaives. This pet no longer does this. Instead they have put a green outline around it that looks similar to the Celestial Pets from Timeless Isles and put a different neon wispy effect around it. Apart from those changes, the Eye model itself looks the same. Posted a screenie. Why did they have to change it? I wish they would've just added the smoke trail. It was a simple way of seeing my toon's path when friends/groups had to follow me in an instance or questing, and generally a nice effect to have overall.

They've also changed the models for the red and blue versions of this Eye, the Extinguished Eye and the Hateful Eye, to have the same bold outline and light/smoke from around the eye with no smoke trail.
