Word of advice. Don't waste all of your resources on work orders as this is the item you will get most of the time.

Though there is a small (not sure the percentage) drop on recipes, it's easier just to quest and kill rares for them.

Btw, ty blizz for making profs fun and worthwhile again!

Edit: There are some recipes you can only receive from Nomi but the initial ones are easily found in the wild.

However, I'd also like to add Blizz said (in one of their twitter responses) as the expansion goes he will get better and stop burning so much. So as tempting it is to try and get 800 and all the recipes I'd wait for his "Skill" to get better.

I trained Nomi every day, until he could call himself an Expert Cook. Even after that I would visit with him every day, and he would present me with an elaborately prepared portable banquet. So you're telling me that after all that training, all that practice making banquets for me, I can have him making work orders for me for four days straight, and he doesn't produce a single recipe or even a single edible item? I call shenanigans, Blizzard.

I have very few complaints about this expansion, but this is one of my biggest. They should have some kind of bonus for people who leveled him in MoP. It would be a nice reward to make up to chefs for how insanely they nerfed cooking in WoD.

I honestly don't think he should even produce this regularly. It should be cooked food plus a recipe, or just cooked food, and occasionally this.

It would be nice if you could at least eat it and get a debuff that makes you sad that you wasted your materials.
