This item drops off of Spirestone Butcher, a Rare spawn in Lower Black Rock Spire.

The Chance on hit does stack with Sunder Armor, but it is a bit slow for tanking warriors. It also aggroes about as much as Sunder, so if you are assisting I advise you don't use this weapon.

its easy to get 3 stacks as a shaman dual wielding those,
they also make a sound when it procs,
sounds like a booof!

Well now you cant farm it yourself for a other lower lvl char, because it Binds when picked up. So you gotta get a person 2 boost your low lvl char. And i would love it for my shammy but i rly dont want 2 farm for 2 Rivenspike, lvl 5 lvls up and then get some better ones in Outland :P

Nerfed, along with Bashguuder (which had a rather high proc rate), sometime around the August 5th hotfixes in 6.2 to no longer proc (at least in raids?). Prior to this, it was a rather large boon to physical damage (since current raid bosses appear to have rather low armor). Ironically, however, Arms warriors in Mythic don't see usage due to their ridiculous uptime on Colossus Smash, anyway.
