This is a good item to farm when you are dealing with the Nefarion encounter at 25%, to help minimize the amount of UD Structures he calls forth. These items are also used in 2 quests, Collection of Goods and Houses of the Holy.

Paladins also need this for their epic pally mount. you need 5. so if you you are going to hit 60 soon and would like to get a jump start on your mount dont wait, get it soon...

Another fun thing is Nightbane adds. If those are giving you grief, you can just group them up, raid uses these + 2secs of AoE and they are all dead. Dangerous for your clothies though, with the highest spelldamage they'll have the most threat. AoE taunts would help :P

As of 2.3.x, the "good" crates sparkle making it easier to skip any trash blocking a "bad" crate.

Best use I can think for this is perhaps solo farming Strat UD side, when you get zerged by the undead right after ramstein

This is a good chunk of damage, is instant-use, does holy damage, is increased by sanctity aura, and by extension must have its threat increased by improved righteous fury. Given that you can walk around most of the trash in Stratholme, farming some up for Mt. Hyjal - as a DPSer, after all it is instant to use, but especially as a protection paladin - isn't a bad idea. Not a bad idea at all.

i'm farming up a couple of these for northrend tbh. it isn't a lot of damage on level 70+ mobs in northrend but it could help in the future.

This can also be used as a stylish logout!

Throw the Stratholme Holy Water exactly where your character is standing, then exactly when you've thrown it, log out. It makes you disappear in a puff of smoke.

Atleast it works as a gnome. :)

This stuff is a major pain to get considering the current state of the game when your leveling 60. No one runs Strat anymore, nearly impossible to find a group, yet it's still required for our Paladin level 60 Charger. I can go in and kill the non-elite skeletons, and get to the first chest when it spawns there. 2 out of the first 3 times I got 2 water's a piece, since then I've tried 29 times and haven't gotten any. Basically it's kill skeletons, open chest, kill yourself, reset, rez, and do it all over again. Hopefully blizzard gives us lowbies an easier way to do this!

What is the easiest way to get five of these? I'm currently 70 ret Paladin and want to complete the Collection of Goods quest (for completion sake), but have been playing solo and haven't done a dungeon yet.

Just noticed the bug in the use text on this. The holy water at one point did a range of damage but this has been changed to be just a flat amount now. The on use text was never updated so it says "Use: Inflicts between 31 damage to Undead in a 5 yard radius." in case it gets changed later. Funny little bug that I'm sure they never anticipated.
