This fel-touched raven is purchasable for 150,000 Cristallo Apexis, from Cercatore dell'Alba Krisek in Tanaan Jungle.

Previously on the PTR, this was the reward from the Glory of the Hellfire Raider achievement, and the Metalupo Infernale came from Apexis Crystals. The two mounts have now switched places.

Didn't fancy the infernal wolf much for another apexis grind, but this corrupted version of the collectors edition mount? Heck yeah! Plenty of time to "casually" hit the 60k cap before the patch arrives so i suggest you save yourself some sanity and spread out the grind already ;)

There were only 2 CE mounts; This 1 and the quilen from Pandaria. I think they made a mistake by making the raven mount the CE reward. Because of that the arrokkoa rep reward is a talbuk and it makes no sense. It sucks for owners of the CE but this mount makes a lot of people happy, including me

Mage Tower building is a very good method for gaining Apexis for this. Takes about 10-15 minutes at most for me to get forty Waystones to turn in for a total of eight work orders. I tend to net 1,000 Apexis a day from this. I farm Waystones at Gordal Fortress in Talador.

150,000 apexis crystals might seem like a lot, however, I would highly recommend building the Mage Tower route, while still doing the Apex dailies each day, as well as doing missives.

The mage tower yields on average 200 apex crystals per work order. So, doing the math, 150,000/200 is 750 work orders. Each work order, however, takes 5 Pietra Energizzata degli Ogre, making it a total of 3750 Pietra Energizzata degli Ogre required to reach 150,000 apexis crystals, should you choose to do the work orders alone. However, with work orders alone, with earning an average of 1000-1200 crystals a day from the Mage Tower, it will take you around at most a 150 days to get enough crystals.

From the places that I have farmed these stones, I would say that the cave inside the Stonemaul Arena in Gorgrond is the best place to farm these, especially if there are players outside doing the bonus objective, as this will increase the spawn rate of the level 92 mobs that are inside the cave. These mobs spawn incredibly quickly, and will yield 1-3 Pietra Energizzata degli Ogre when they decide to drop them.

You can also do garrison missives, on top of work orders at the Mage Tower and apex dailies. If you choose to do these as well, I would recommend doing The Lost Veil of Anzu missive. When you do this missive, be sure to not just kill mobs, but consume them (right clicking their bodies after looting them) so that you get transformed. Once transformed, killing anything will grant a huge amount towards completion of the missive (I'd recommend AoE'ing down the goblins/octopus packs) and I usually finish this missive within 5 minutes, for a total of 800 Apex crystals. Also, if you choose to do JUST missives, it will take a 188 missives, which in total will cost a whopping 37,600 garrison resources.

So depending on how you choose to go for this mount, it could take a very long time. If you reach the 60,000 cap before 6.2, and would like to get the mount ONE MONTH after 6.2 drops, you will have to do the apexis crystal daily each day, as well as (at most) 38 missives, on top of having the Mage Tower running at full capacity during that month.

is it ironic, that despite Blizzard's claim that they won't be putting flying into Draenor at any point in time in the future, let alone in any future content, and yet, they're releasing ANOTHER flying mount? (yes, it can be used as ground mount, but that's not the point.) add to the fact, that it's a reskin of the CE mount, just shows how lazy they truly are. :| I've already been banned from the WoW forums, for refusing to accept their "vision", but this? this is a slap to the face of those that want to see flying added to Draenor at some point in time. I wouldn't be surprised to see more people leave. It's no longer about flying, it's the blaniant disrespect Blizzard has shown their players, time and time again, and the outright lies, and lack of compelling content. :|

Obtainable in 15 days if you start with 0 apexis crystal. So how to start?

1. Pick up the daily quest from Yrel with reward 2000 apexis and 600 oil and finish it. (if you don't do that quest you cant unlock another dailys and all 7 daily zones with reward 500 each, exept Throne of Kil"jaeden with reward 800. (I am highly recommend to not do the Throne as your main daily quest for apexis and oil).
2. Once is done pick up all daily quests and start doing them.
3. Will recommend to group up for Throne of Kil'jaeden since there is only elites and they hit very hard even to tank 705+ ilvl. Note that if you choose to do the Throne as main quest (from Yrel) you will lose 300 apexis in total since you cant do one zone 2 times in one day. So choice any area with reward 500 apexis.

Yrel main daily - 2000 apexis
5 zones x 500 + Throne 800 = 3300 (the 7th zone is done for the daily from Yrel)
daily from Krisek "Unseen Influence" - 1500
two dailys from Vindicatr Krethos - 750 total
daily from garrison - 800 (1000 - The Pit)
mage tower ~ 900 (6 work orders per 24h)
do one "scounting massive" for 800 (cost 200 garrison resources)

total daily: 10 050
In addition there is some apexis missions from garrision with reward from 400 to 1000 apexis. And now in the shipyard from 1000 to 2000 (didn't saw more than 2000)

Note that the things can get changed since its PTR.

Here is a quick guide for obtaining 0 Cristallo Apexis within 14 days:

Initial steps:

Daily Grind

Complete Influenza invisibile for 0 Cristallo Apexis.
Complete the daily quest at your command table in Lion's Watch or Vol'mar. The possible quests are included in L'ultima difesa di Draenor and grant 0 Cristallo Apexis.
Upon completion of your command table daily, go to Vendicatore Krethos / Cacciatore dell'Ombra Denjai to receive two more daily quests:
Intensificare l'attacco / Intensificare l'attacco requires you to complete two more bonus objective areas and grants 0 Cristallo Apexis for completing the quest. This is in addition to the 0 Cristallo Apexis you'll earn for completing each zone, granting you a total of 0 Cristallo Apexis.
The other quest is randomly generated and will grant 0 Cristallo Apexis upon completion.
Complete the remaining four bonus objective areas in Tanaan Jungle granting 0 Cristallo Apexis for Assalto al Trono di Kil'jaeden + 0 Cristallo Apexis for each normal zone. You'll get 0 Cristallo Apexis in total for completing all four.
Return to your garrison and complete the town hall daily quest for 0 Cristallo Apexis.

The above method will get you at least 0 Cristallo Apexis every day. It will take 14 days to get 0 Cristallo Apexis this way. You can earn more each day by issuing work orders in your garrison, completing Inn dailies, or completing group quests.

Dead enemies drop 1-3 Cristallo Apexis within the bonus objective zones and will allow you to reach 0 Cristallo Apexis faster than 14 days. Drop rates will increase if you complete Rissa nella giungla and gain the Re della Giungla buff.

Boost Your Earnings

If available at your command table, Assalto al Trono di Kil'jaeden will grant 0 Cristallo Apexis and you'll obtain an extra 0 Cristallo Apexis for the day.
Purchase Scouting Missives from Sergente Crowler / Sergente Faucitetre and complete the quest for 0 Cristallo Apexis.
If you have a Torre della Magia / Rifugio degli Spiriti Livello 1 you can obtain an additional ~0 Cristallo Apexis each day via work orders (Thank you to Mitchevans, Dzink and Karazaskul for the information)
Sacerdote del Sole Vayx doubles the number of Cristallo Apexis gained on relevant follower missions, but requires 0 Cristallo Apexis to purchase his contract.

I obtained my mount 2 days after launch, and posted my pictures of Khadgar Server First for those who want to see.

I can say that this mount turns a lot of heads, as i was whispered many times how beautiful she was, and indeed, she's a beauty.

The ONLY downside i have with the mount is that the spell effects giving the fiery glow that rises in the air goes straight in the camera angle, but it's not as bad as the A'lar mount, which gave me headaches and nausea after a while.

Greatest upsides i saw was first, of course, her beauty, and second, her spell effects. There is one spell effect that cannot be seen: It's the sound. Even when not in the air, the mount leaves a fiery sound as if it was burning alive

Most beautiful mount i have, and a trophy by itself with the fact i have server first. I recommend any who are mount hunters like me to farm for her, because she's more than worth it.

Sure, it's a lot of farming, but it's bearable if you have a mage tower/spirit lodge, and patience :)

PS: Yes, she can fly, and yes, she will fly in WoD soon, for those who wait for the "flying patch"

EDIT: yes, there is indeed a problem with the animation, as it's much faster than normal, and looks silly. I realized it right when i obtained the mount, but didn't think much of it, thinking it was the same as the Dread Raven's, but it's not.

Bought this mount today and I'm sorry to report that it is excruciatingly undersized! It is significantly smaller than the Dread Raven, and your character barely even fits in the saddle. Bad luck to the larger races like Tauren, Orcs, Worgen and Trolls... you just look ridiculous riding it.

And unfortunately, due to its small size the animation speed is (yet again) far faster than it should be.

This is starting to become a bad habit for Blizzard....

Something not mentioned in other comments:

This mount, once learned, can jump abnormally higher than all the other mounts. You will find yourself being able to clear certain obstacles easier.

Good luck to all of you with your apexis grind. It'll be over before you know it.

Weee i just got my mount now :D
And i even skipped 1 day with daily in Tanaan, and only had 50k when tanaan came out, and i then used 30k on weap + the upgrade to 695 :)
So you can do this in 1 week if you do all the bonus areas that gives Apexi.

One of the easiest grinds I've ever been on. The work in getting this mount was nothing compared to Reins of the Winterspring Frostsaber ten years ago, but I'll treasure it as much.

I am drooling over this mount. Birds have certain majestic type of feel to them and this guy looks REALLY MEAN as well! He is ginormous!The textures are so detailed and the fel corruption is badass! I don't have a problem with apexis quests so I am saving up for this guy and I'm gonna get it and I'm going to use it to fly in Draenor. This is a really, really good looking mount.

Finally. After my dailies last night I was at 147k Apexis, and grinded the rest out via Iron Front farming groups.

Worth every crystal and every hour spent doing so, so many of those dailies.

Really gorgeous mount, great model and texture detail, and the Fel particles look very cool.

Like others have said, and this is par for the course with many WoD mounts, the running animation is awful. It's far too fast and there's too much swaying.

Phew. After 2-3 weeks of doing my dailies every single day, as well as the 4k I had saved up prior to 6.2, I finally saved up enough Apexis Crystals to afford this mount. And I'm glad I did, it looks stunning! One of the incredibly few decent WoD mounts, and this one is probably the best. I definitely think Blizzard should have put in an achievement for grinding for this mount though.

Very similar to the Warlords of Draenor promotional mount, Redini del Corvo del Terrore. Obtained from Cercatore dell'Alba Krisek for 150,000x Cristallo Apexis(also requires friendly with the Ordine dei Risvegliati, but you should get that long before obtaining 150,000 crystals)

The faster way to have 150 000 Apexis turns arounds 800 Apexis enchères five minutes, so if you are a hard-farmer and want your mount right now it Will take you like around fifteen hours.

This mount, Reins of the Corrupted Dreadwing, despite its description in the game before and after you learn it, you no longer need to be level 100 nor Friendly with the Order of the Awakened to be used. My level 26 Priest was able to ride it without a problem: The screenshot that shows a level 26 Priest riding it.

Farm this with at least 110. Get the daily quest from the Talador outpost mission table. That's usually 2000 Apexis. This then opens up 5 bonus areas that yield 800 each. Repeat every day. Kill Kazzak for 1000 also.
It's a grind but the mount is amazing.

Its great for green outfits. Too bad the burning sound is ruining it. No other burning mount has this annoying looped sound of a burning fire and I cant find the spell ID to mute it. Way to go, Blizzard, to ruin a great looking mount with an annoying sound.

Much like the Armored Skyscreamer, it's been like 3 years or more at this point and this mount is still bugged. The /mountspecial used to have delayed audio, but now it flat out doesn't even play the audio.

Such a massive shame considering how cool this mount was/is.
