Players may find this item while completing a Platinum Score (1300:Difensore di Platino) in any garrison invasion and allows them to summon Dama Ardicarne; one of six new raid bosses in the Garrison.

Killing such boss gives credit to Supremazia di comando.

Some people have stated they received item only getting a gold score (1000).

Received this item after getting gold in a garrison invasion.

Made a raid of 40 people, all in my garrison, used it (5 sec cast time)... it spawned a fire... and then nothing.

Garrison Invasion Bosses
There are six possible garrison bosses that can be summoned. They are summoned by the items below, and are each associated with a specific type of invasion:

Cuore di Quercia summons Teluur, and can be obtained during a Botani invasion
Arcane Highmaul Relic summons Signore dei Maghi Gogg'nathog, and can be obtained during an Ogre invasion
Runed Greatstone summons Gaur, and can be obtained during a Goren invasion
Bloodied Iron Horde Banner summons Comandante Dro'gan, and can be obtained during an Iron Horde invasion
Legion Beacon summons Dama Ardicarne, and can be obtained during a Shadow Council invasion
Prigione del Vuoto summons Annienthon, and can be obtained during a Shadowmoon invasion

Below I've compiled some information on these Garrison Invasion Bosses:

The items that summon these bosses can be received by successfully completing a garrison invasion, with ANY rating achieved (bronze, silver, gold or platinum).
The items can be obtained on your second, third, fourth etc. invasion in a week even if you have already completed an invasion that week and won all of the reward bags.
The person that has the summoning item must summon the boss from a Level 3 garrison, but it doesn't have to be their own. Anyone in the group leader's raid group and in that person's garrison can engage the boss.
The bosses are recommended to be tackled by 10-40 players, and they scale in health and abilities. In general, though, the more people that you have, the more room you have for error.
Once used, the summoning items are consumed and cannot be used again (even if you wipe!)
The bosses have personal loot tables, and drop a guaranteed 75 Risorse per la Guarnigione and 75 Cristallo Apexis, along with a chance to drop 645 or 660 epic gear, Arcane Crystal trading post parts, and any of the 4 invasion mounts (Garn Fauciferree, Grugnofreddo Gigante, Metalupo Fumoso or Zannaperlacea Mantombroso).

Note that you can obtain two mounts from a single boss - they have independent drop chances!
Although a certain mount may have dropped for you in the past, it may still drop again in the future.

The gear that drops can be Warforged, have a socket, be Indestructible (no repairs required ever), or have a tertiary stat (Leech, Speed or Avoidance).
You can only loot ONE garrison boss per week/raid lockout.

This restriction is per toon - you can kill another garrison boss in the same lockout on an alt!
Once you've killed a garrison invasion boss, "Garrison Raid Defense" will appear in your list of lockouts (Press "O", then click Raid Info at the top right of your Raid tab).

Killing all of the different raid bosses grants the achievement Supremazia di comando. Only the kill is required (even if someone else has summoned them).

This achievement is NOT account-wide! Therefore, while you can kill these bosses on multiple toons for chances at loot, kill credit for all 6 needs to be on a single character for the achievement.

This particular drop is driving me batty. SC is the only invasion I can't seem to get Plat on, and I can't seem to get this to drop. she's the last one I need too.

Ok it's Legion and BFA times so let's talk about some more about these invasions. Real purpose of doing them is mount farming

What's the idea?
The Draenor Garrison can have these invasions from different Draenor civilizations. You want to trigger an invasion of your choosing and earn 1300 points (Platinum) so you can receive 2 bags that each of them has chance of dropping the mounts. The two bags are:

Tesoro Dimenticato dell'Invasore for earning Gold score (1000)
Cassa di Spoglie dell'Invasore Morto for earning Platinum score (1300)

They can contain 4 mounts:

Garn Fauciferree
Grugnofreddo Gigante
Zannaperlacea Mantombroso
Metalupo Fumoso

Unfortunately, the drop rate is rather low. ~1 % for each mount. Good news is that there are 2 bags that can drop these mounts and 1 bag can drop more than 1 mount. However, for this to happen you need to be extremely lucky. Most of the time people do 30-40 invasions and they haven't seen even 1 mount to drop.

How to trigger an invasion?
Go to Sergente Crowler if you are Alliance or Sergente Faucitetre if you are Horde. They sell these Missive items that can send you on a quest to irritate a specific Draenor faction so they can attack you back in a form of Invasion. From all the types of invasions i've found Lettera dell'Esploratore: Fossatetra to be the quickest. Some are really slow and painful and actually pretty boring to complete so i think that Lettera dell'Esploratore: Fossatetra is the best one to choose. You will need to go to Gorgrond and kill iron horde around the Black Foundry entrance 50 27 coordinates. To kill enough to complete the Missive quest just takes a few minutes unlike other types of Missives. You can also cruise around to check for Poundfist rare while you are there. Ok so you have completed the Missive quest and you port back to your Garrison. Inside the Garrison building you turn in the quest. Go outside and check out Sergente Crowler or Sergente Faucitetre. They should be waiting with a quest to offer you that's called Garrison Invasion!. Start it and the invasion will start.

The invasion itself?
Getting Platinum should be easy. Everything is being one shotted so it's more about mobility. Use Aoe to finish off the mobs quickly. You will see a score counter so you know where you are. Don't worry if by the end of the timer you are not at 1300. After the 7 minute timer ends there are 2 more phases that will award points. Once you defeat the last boss you will be awarded the bags. Open then and hope for mounts. That's it

So let's summarize some of the info:

1. Use Lettera dell'Esploratore: Fossatetra to spawn an invasion with least pain involved
2. Complete the invasion with 1300+ score to get 1 more bag that can contain mounts
3. There are mounts that drop from the invasion reward bags - Tesoro Dimenticato dell'Invasore reward for Gold invasion score and Cassa di Spoglie dell'Invasore Morto for Platinum. Both bags drop from a single invasion if you have completed Platinum.
4. 4 mounts drop here and drop rate unfortunately is very low. You could do 30 invasions and still not have a single mount. You can have 2 mount drops from the same bag.
5. You can do 1 invasion per character. Which means that you can use alts to help out with the grind.

Extras:
The invasion reward bags have a low chance to drop Bloodied Iron Horde Banner which you can use to summon an Invasion boss called Comandante Dro'gan who also have a 1% chance to drop a mount
