Check the 3D model and notice the placeholder horse's saddle is another horse complete with blinking eyes.

Edit: Originally the placeholder was a white horse and the saddle was nightmarish.

Based on what the mount looks like, my guess is that it is a reward for playing HotS or being in beta or something of that nature, similar to the Hearthsteed

The Fiera delle Rune Mistica is the 10th store mount to be added to the game (May 13th 2015). It can be purchased for $25 in the ingame shop.

As of , despite Patch 6.1.2 being live, Fiera delle Rune Mistica is still not for sale.

It can however be seen in the Mounts tab, and it's source is listed as "In-Game Shop."

Can't wait to see Fiera delle Rune Mistica on priest in (with Glifo - Forma d'Ombra as well) and on boomkin with Glifo - Stelle.

Very nice mount and I will definitely buy it as soon as it will be available in-game shop.

For those asking or going to ask for a release date on the mount, I've contacted Blizzard via live chat about it and I got this as their reply -

At this point, the Runesaber mount seems to be in the "datamined, but not yet announced" category. Or at least, announced as far as a release date goes, pretty sure it's been teased. We pretty much find out about the release of new mounts shortly before or on the day its going to happen, so the dev team probably hasn't nailed down an exact date yet.

Edit: The release date of the mount is May 13th.

I really wish they would go for more organic looking mounts. An actually attainable zhevra, maybe a hyena, maybe a giant moth or butterfly, etc.
All of the glowy magical stuff is fun for a while but there comes a time when I begin to long for a more simplistic medieval fantasy look. The new items just never deliver for me.

I can't tell you how often I lament over the thought of how gorgeous a winged white horse in Argent Crusade regalia would have been for the flying mount they reward you with.

Since I cannot abide purple or the light pink purple, Blizzard has decided everything in the game will be Purple or some disgusting form of it. EVERYTHING will have that awful color somewhere.

I am just sayin' (when you dislike it, you see it everywhere).

Just a heads up for those who, like me, notice everything:

The Runesaber doesn't run exactly like the JC mounts or the Shado Pan tigers, for example. It seems to have a slightly faster gait, which gives it an almost wolf-like run--and not in a good way. It's not a deal breaker, and I would have bought it anyway, BUT it's a tad disappointing that it's not just like every other cat mount in the game for whatever odd reason. It's also slightly smaller than the JC mounts.

I don't get it. It's just a reskin, how can Blizz mess it up?

Good animation, beautiful mount. Would have to say this is probably one of the better mounts if not the best mount available in the store. If you haven't purchased a mount yet this is a great start!

the colours are wonderful and just the magical essence of it makes me giddy. plus who doesn't love cats? seriously! it will be my go to mount replacing the last store mount grinning reaver :)
