these drop for the shadowmoon valley lvl 100 daily, Assault on Darktide Roost, but I couldn't find a rylakinator-3000 to use them with.

The Darktide unmanned Rylakinator-3000 can be found on the west part of the island, I found one at 56,91. No interaction yet.

This item is used to operate the Unmanned Darktide Rylakinator-3000. You won't be able to use it till later in the quest line and it is a one time use item. Once you are in the vehicle it does have a limited use so once it is done you must loot another power cell to man the vehicle again.

It seems like these items do in fact drop when there is no daily or garrison mission active. It might be that these items do not drop additionally on the day you finished the daily quest/bonus objective. I previously reported that after finishing the garrison mission I couldn't loot anymore cores. A few days after I did go back without the daily up and was able to loot a core after approximately ten kills or so, this was significantly less than I killed after I finished the garrison mission.

So long story short, these items can be farmed when no daily is active and this is also by far the best moment to get Sei stato rylakinizzato!. When the daily is active a lot of players will just be randomly killing Adolescents, when it is not you might only have competition from other players doing the achievement (which is rare at any random point in time) or rep farmers.

After this quest you can loot Batteria del Rylakinatore-3000 from Furfante Foscamarea or Ingegnere Foscamarea or Ingegnere Foscamarea. The best way is to do it early in the morning or when Assalto al Covo dei Foscamarea is not daily of the day, because people will kill all the Alacupa Giovane and it will be hard to get 10 of them in 3 mins. Or just try to use low-pop server.

The 24 hour duration is in-game time, not real time. Probably not planned that way.

As of 7.0.3 it looks like this item's droprate has been significantly reduced however I can confirm it still drops, just do not give up. It took me around 50 mobs (mixed between the three types) to get one.
