This wolf is one of 6 "trained" mounts introduced in Warlords of Draenor.

These mounts require a level 1 or higher Stables in your Garrison. Each of them require capturing a wild mount with a lasso and then completing several quests with them before they are finally learned. Quests involve killing monsters around Draenor while mounted on your mount-in-training.

The Stables occupies a Large Plot in your garrison.

All mounts will be kept and ridable if you decide to demolish your Stables after learning them.

Completing all 6 quest chains will earn you Signore delle cavalcature which rewards you with Scuderia, Livello 3.

Two additional mounts come from defeating mount-in-training targets while carrying an item that makes defeating the target more challenging.

Cinghiale del Gelo Corazzato Reward from (H) / (A). Defeat all of the mount-in-training targets in Nagrand while carrying the Black Claw of Sethe: Damage taken increased by 25%. Movement speed reduced by 25%.
Lupo Bianco Corazzato Reward from (H) / (A) . Defeat all mount-in-training targets in Nagrand while carrying the Garn-Tooth Necklace: Damage taken increased by 50%. Movement speed reduced by 50%.

The wolf mounts in Draenor have a much faster running animation than the Kor'kron War Wolf from the pre 6.0 'Ahead of the Curve' achievements.

I compared it with Garn Urlocupo and it's alot smaller, honestly they should make it a bit bigger because it looks weird especially on male tauren and draenei.

all well and good guys.. but the stupidity of the clefthoof and talbuk missions being more and happening more when one REALLY want to train up the snarler is a pissoff and waste of time.. why couldn't we have a choice in the matter as to who we WANT to train first ?
been running the questline for the damn stables for a while now and all I get is the stupid freaking clefthoof and stupid freaking talbuk. I could do without the pig, talbuk and clefthoof guys! we should be able to choose what we want to train first! not any of this random quest crap that only lets me train two beast that I consider fodder for my true mount! ( the Wolf of course!) after all clefthoof, talbuk and boars are good FOOD for wolves.. not good MOUNTS for riders in MY opinion!

Anyone else not happy with the running animation for this? It feels like it's too small, or it's too sped up. There's no grace in it.

This model seems scaled down and as a result runs way too fast visually and looks pretty bad shame because the boar mount also has terrible running animations. I'm thankful to have the korkron warwolf :)

Unfortunately as of 7/12/14 this wolf mount is smaller than usual wolf mounts, and its running animation is sped up dramatically. Shame because the model is great, but riding it looks daft in my opinion. Especially on a Tauren.

Hopefully Blizzard will fix it.

Since 6.2.2 now it has the standard super slow-motion animation like the rest of the wolf mounts. Why Blizzard, why? u_u

I just want you all to know, that later when you go for more final buildings, you'll keep those 6 Trained mounts that you have gathered during your Stable era. So it's all ok to pick and have fun with the Stables during your upgoing period. The 20% speed-buff and the possibilty to do all kinds of actions without dismounting is really helpful during your level-up+ time. AGAIN: YOU WILL KEEP ALL 6 OF YOUR SPECIAL "TRAINED-MOUNTS" if you change the Stables later-on.
