As a resto shaman I have tested this and it does proc off heals and even totem casts.

What people who think it doesn't are forgetting: You must be in combat for it to proc.

This trinket drop from Sporafelce in LFR only.

This trinket does work on healing. You need to be in combat for him to proc.

I'm here to ask: is it good enough? Comparing it to some 630 trinkets, I'll either lose 159 Intellect/Mastery or 159 Multistrike/Spirit.

If I remove the Intellect/Mastery I lose around 900 from each single heal (down from 23200 to 22300), and roughly 5% Mastery. I get around 200 mp5 and a huge Crit proc. Is it worth it? Doesn't feel like so.

I'm thinking of changing the other trinket, but it will reduce my Spirit, which is very sad. The problem is that I can't control the proc...

Let's think about this trinket.

First, it has a flat 97 spirit. Most trinkets from heroic dungeons have more spirit except Leaf of the Ancient Protectors. Second, there's a proc with 1517 crit for 10 seconds with 0.92 ppm. This results in ~232 crit average.

Compared to Rukhran's Quill or Crystalline Blood Drop, this trinket is really disappointing. The amount of spirit is low for a healer that wants to go normal mode raiding and the proc is unreliable. If you have the choice, take another trinket. If you weren't lucky by now and get this trinket: it's better than nothing.

It also procs on heals, but you need to be in combat. I've just finished a whole dungeon, i gave 0 damage,but the trinket worked.
