This item is a ONE TIME use item, even if the tooltip may lead you to believe otherwise by indicating the item cooldown. This item is like a health pot for your engy crafted creatures and guardians on a 2 min cd just like the real health pots. Also, it seems to be affected by +healing as my lvl 48 shaman with +123 healing just used this for 811 heal to my mechanical dragonling.

This does work on tanks in Strand of the Ancients and so I assume in Wintergrasp too. It is also still affected by Spell Power. I have 890 sp and they heal the tanks for about 1500. It's not much, but it can give you just enough to bust that door down. Combine it with Goblin Thermal Sapper and Seaforium and you're a one man wrecking crew.

I can confirm that this item WORKS ON MECHANICAL HUNTER PETS, in case anyone was wondering. Tested it just now on my Proto-Strider in Gnomeregan.

Have not seen any mention of this fact anywhere else.
