Disposable mount?

Places you into a vehicle with roughly 20.5k health (does not scale with gear). In spite of being "extremely fast", this is no faster than a regular 100% speed mount. While riding this vehicle, you do not take fall damage.

Ejector seat when activated destroys the vehicle and does about 30k AOE damage & stuns for a few seconds, and launches you straight up like an engineering tinker Nitro-boosts failure. Parachute will deploy as you fall back down to land.

This is usable in the garrison mine.

Edit: You seem to be able to use this in most indoor locations.

Note: unlike a number of items from the Goblin Workshop / Gnomish Gearworks, this item does NOT refresh immediately when you use up the stack of 10 from the workbench. So, when you use up the 10 charges, you can't immediately go and pick up a new one.

A new one WILL spawn later in the day though... I have not worked out the timing yet for this. If it's not respawned on the table, try checking back later.

I had a problem with getting this to spawn after 10/50 uses for Terrific Technology. I used a suggested technique of "shuffling" my medium buildings. The item spawned immediately after I did this. However, as noted by another player, this item is unique in that it does not appear to immediately re-spawn. I used the shuffle technique several more times and it spawned again. I found that if I didn't go to the building and check on the swap, the item would not spawn until the 3rd time I check. I was able to use this technique until I was 50/50 and the achievement was complete. Took about 10 minutes with all the shuffling and checking.

Do not bother trying to re-build the Gearworks/Workshop; That doesn't work and you just lose valuable resources.

Also make sure that you eject and not simply dismount. Some players have reported problems with getting this item to re-spawn when they do not eject. (See Prototype Mekgineer's Chopper)

While you can cast it in combat, damage will interrupt the affect.

Rather lackluster at the moment.

As a quick and convenient way to grind for Tecnologia fantastica, use this under the lamp post next to the work table where you find it. You'll be launched up for only a second rather than several seconds outdoors.

Prototipo di Meccanomoto (H)/Prototipo di Dueruote del Mekgeniere (A) is one of the inventions that can be obtained from your Stabilimento degli Gnomi / Officina dei Goblin Livello 2. Note that this invention is not available at at the Stabilimento degli Gnomi / Officina dei Goblin Livello 1.

This item as it is NOT classified as a mount, but rather a vehicle. Here is some further information regarding this item.

This item has 10 charges. As such, 5 separate items (total 50 charges) must be used to fulfill the criteria for Tecnologia fantastica. This can be done within a single day by using all of the charges on the item and picking up another when it respawns in your Stabilimento degli Gnomi / Officina dei Goblin Livello 2. The respawning itself may take some time - leaving your garrison and coming back usually helps. Note that the item will not reappear until the previous one has been consumed.
Using this item will put you in the vehicle, hiding your action bars and giving you a single ability - Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile.
A quick and easy way to get credit for your achievement involves repeatedly using the item and immediately using the Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile INSIDE a building - the ceiling will stop you from flying too high and speeds things up.
Using Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile causes the chopper/hog to explode (destroying it), shooting you straight up in the air and doing AoE damage to nearby enemies and stunning them briefly. You get a parachute shortly after, slowing your fall back to the ground.
The AoE damage from the Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile amounts to 20-30k. If a mob is only damaged by the explosion and killed, it does NOT count as your kill and thus you cannot loot it.
This vehicle has an "Exit Vehicle" option - this, however, will NOT produce the explosion or knock you into the air as using Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile does.
Aggroing mobs and taking damage will not remove you from the vehicle.
While in the vehicle, you cannot use any spells, abilities or heals.
While in the vehicle, neither you or the vehicle takes ANY fall damage, even from great heights!
The vehicle has about 20k health. Any damage taken while in the vehicle is done to your character, NOT the vehicle. That being said, cleave damage will damage the vehicle itself. The vehicle is immune to AoE damage.
The health of the vehicle regenerates slowly while out of combat.
It can be difficult to target your character and see your health while in the vehicle. You do so with the command/macro "/tar <Character Name>"
The Prototipo di Meccanomoto/Prototipo di Dueruote del Mekgeniere has a cast time when used of 1.5 seconds at baseline. This cast time is shortened proportional to the haste your character has.
This item CAN be used in combat. That being said, any damage will interrupt the cast to use it. As such, it can be used to make a quick getaway if you can avoid damage for the brief cast time (i.e. use a knockback or rooting ability to give you time).
Your "Movement Speed" in your character pane will not change when using this item. It will appear that you are going walking speed according to that number, when in fact the vehicle is going considerably faster.
Items with the +Speed tertiary stat do not affect the speed of this vehicle.
While in the vehicle, you cannot interact with NPCs such as vendors or Auctioneers.
You CAN go through clickable portals, but doing so will cause you to exit from the vehicle. In fact, many items interactable with the gear icon will dismount you (e.g. Completed Work Orders).
You can enter this vehicle indoors, and going indoors while in it will not dismount you.
This item can be used in the garrison mines, but while in it you cannot interact with mining nodes or mine carts.

This vehicle does move slightly faster than a standard ground mount - but not enough to make a huge difference.

Testing with the Speedy Gonzalez add-on revealed the following (note that testing occurred with In Sella and Incantamento Mantello - Dono del Colpo Critico active):
Walking Speed: 110%
Standard Ground Mount Speed (with Praticante in Equitazione): 210%
Prototipo di Meccanomoto Speed: 214%
