This chopper travels at epic ground mount speed. It can move underground and inside buildings.

Seems as if you dont take any fall damage while using it, because its a vehicle. Not sure if that's intended...

Since the description stated that this contraption was equipped with an "exploding ejector seat", I was curious to see if the explosion could cause damage to an NPC.

Don't take this to mean that it will happen in every case to any NPC who means you harm, but I left my garrison and tested the theory on a Antico Scorzalunare, then on an Zannaperlacea Antico. The item didn't kill the Moonbark Ancient (health = 35,006), but did significant damage to it bringing it to about 1/2 the health it began with. The stats of this hit did not appear in my actions, so I cannot give specifics.

I then drove the chopper headlong into the Pearltusk (health = 26,254). The Pearltusk died immediately with no help from my sword.

The long and short of it is that the "explosion" of the ejector seat DOES damage surrounding NPCs, so if you were to drive this thing into a massive fray of elites while farming Protettori Sha'tari rep at the Path of Glory, I doubt you would scare too many of the 400k-500k health elite orcs from pouncing on you. But if you were to click the ejector seat just as you entered a crowd of Talbuk Mantoargenteo Furiosos while leveling in Shadowmoon Valley, you might jolt them a bit, perhaps even kill them.

Anyone with different results do reply. Because of the varied results on the two trials I performed, it could be possible that the results depend on the NPC.

Oddly enough this mount appears to have a special animation for gnomes. Perhaps this is the same animation the original chopper should have had as well.

as stated on another comment if this or any other item isn't spawning.. then you can building "shuffle" that is trade the places of two buildings of the same size, it doesn't cost anything and the item should spawn

It is a great killing machine with a major drawback - no credit/no looting of the creature attacked if the blast kills the creature, So sad - a major flaw in the design - I guess those engineers need to do more work on their prototype.

Maybe in version two they will include a horn, so that people will be able to flee to safety as this "speed" demon whizzes by - lol

This item as it is NOT classified as a mount, but rather a vehicle. Here is some further information regarding this item.

This item has 10 charges. As such, 5 separate items (total 50 charges) must be used to fulfill the criteria for Tecnologia fantastica. This can be done within a single day by using all of the charges on the item and picking up another when it respawns in your Stabilimento degli Gnomi / Officina dei Goblin Livello 2. The respawning itself may take some time - leaving your garrison and coming back usually helps. Note that the item will not reappear until the previous one has been consumed.
Using this item will put you in the vehicle, hiding your action bars and giving you a single ability - Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile.
A quick and easy way to get credit for your achievement involves repeatedly using the item and immediately using the Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile INSIDE a building - the ceiling will stop you from flying too high and speeds things up.
Using Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile causes the chopper/hog to explode (destroying it), shooting you straight up in the air and doing AoE damage to nearby enemies and stunning them briefly. You get a parachute shortly after, slowing your fall back to the ground.
The AoE damage from the Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile amounts to 20-30k. If a mob is only damaged by the explosion and killed, it does NOT count as your kill and thus you cannot loot it.
This vehicle has an "Exit Vehicle" option - this, however, will NOT produce the explosion or knock you into the air as using Esplosione Sedile Eiettabile does.
Aggroing mobs and taking damage will not remove you from the vehicle.
While in the vehicle, you cannot use any spells, abilities or heals.
While in the vehicle, neither you or the vehicle takes ANY fall damage, even from great heights!
The vehicle has about 20k health. Any damage taken while in the vehicle is done to your character, NOT the vehicle. That being said, cleave damage will damage the vehicle itself. The vehicle is immune to AoE damage.
The health of the vehicle regenerates slowly while out of combat.
It can be difficult to target your character and see your health while in the vehicle. You do so with the command/macro "/tar <Character Name>"
The Prototipo di Meccanomoto/Prototipo di Dueruote del Mekgeniere has a cast time when used of 1.5 seconds at baseline. This cast time is shortened proportional to the haste your character has.
This item CAN be used in combat. That being said, any damage will interrupt the cast to use it. As such, it can be used to make a quick getaway if you can avoid damage for the brief cast time (i.e. use a knockback or rooting ability to give you time).
Your "Movement Speed" in your character pane will not change when using this item. It will appear that you are going walking speed according to that number, when in fact the vehicle is going considerably faster.
Items with the +Speed tertiary stat do not affect the speed of this vehicle.
While in the vehicle, you cannot interact with NPCs such as vendors or Auctioneers.
You CAN go through clickable portals, but doing so will cause you to exit from the vehicle. In fact, many items interactable with the gear icon will dismount you (e.g. Completed Work Orders).
You can enter this vehicle indoors, and going indoors while in it will not dismount you.
This item can be used in the garrison mines, but while in it you cannot interact with mining nodes or mine carts.

This vehicle does move slightly faster than a standard ground mount - but not enough to make a huge difference.

Testing with the Speedy Gonzalez add-on revealed the following (note that testing occurred with In Sella and Incantamento Mantello - Dono del Colpo Critico active):
Walking Speed: 110%
Standard Ground Mount Speed (with Praticante in Equitazione): 210%
Prototipo di Meccanomoto Speed: 214%

Took this to timeless isle and took a shot at CHI CHI the boss bird. I got on my bike and drove around and around it. No damage to the bike. Then i noticed Cauterize happened. I quickly went to the steps to escape and realized i had taken HP damage to me. I only had a small bit of life left.

In the past nothing really hurt the bike except an occasional hit from something that must damage it.

It still worked in caves and took no fall damage.

The HP damage to me was a new thing .
