On a one-hour cooldown, I'd really hope that it would provide some Daze resistance. Nothing like the anger and sadness of getting dazed off this thing fifteen seconds after mounting.

2) It's not a "real" mount. More like a toy, or a trinket

I just got this mount on the Gorgonnash server restart.

Waited at his spawn point 63.89 54.88 before the server restart.
After the restart I furiously logged in (of course the world server was down multiple times, but I got in after a minute of trying) and saw him walking away from his spawn point!

The joy in my heart was great as I stealthed up behind him, sprinting in cat form, because he does walk at a fast pace and I wouldn't have been able to catch up with him otherwise. When I was right on the heel of his hooves I rooted him. He stayed a neutral mob so I rooted him two more times to make sure he was good and still. I then started attacking him and the first damage-dealing spell I cast turned him into a hostile mob and he attacked me. I didn't get any fleeing messages and he didn't even try to run away.

I'm a lvl 100 Tauren Boomkin so the fight was easy as pie.

When I killed him I looted him immediately and got the mount. I was afraid, like others have said, that the body would disappear before I looted him and I would be heartbroken.

It took about fifteen to twenty seconds for his body to disappear for me so it was a good long while I had to loot the corpse.

About ten minutes after I killed him he spawned again, walking, at the same coords I gave at the beginning.

Might be ok on a pvp server, but for me it's another one of those pointless 'toys' 20 seconds of use,
1 hour CD and can only be used in shadowmoon...meh, garbage

grants 400% movementspeed for 20 seconds. stacks with paladin crusader aura for a total of 420%. should be a 10min CD max if you ask me.

Item is not consumed on use (but triggers 1hr cooldown).
Is an instant cast, meaning you can activate it while running.
Not usable in combat; best to macro it with Stendardo da Battaglia di Salyis for a quick get-away.

Why not just remove the 20 sec use? I mean its already limited to Shadowmoon; add the short usage + 1 hr. cooldown this is a very underwhelming toy. Does look very cool though.

Wowhead needs to update the Tooltip info on this item, got mine today, and in-game and in battle.net site it says only BoP, not BoA. You'd have to come to the NPC in any other toons you may wan't it, but meh, 20s use on a 1hr CD, sucks.

I did this today, ran up to it's back, melee attacked it, stunned it as it was casting "Spooked" then killed it. Literally seconds later it respawned, casually walking.
I don't know if this means it spawns as soon as it dies or I got incredibly lucky. Either way It can spawn as soon as it is killed.

I think the best use is for a speed buff to get to the next quest hub/flight path. Hopefully cooldown is up before needing to move on to the next quest location.

For those of you that missed Rasztra's reply to Kanariya -

Do not use this while currently mounted on something else. I was on my Grand Expedition Yak, then clicked Spirit of Shinri ... 1hr CD on the item now, and I'm standing there like a chump.

Please note that if used while mounted you will waste the 1hr CD. It just dismounts you. So in order to use it dismount first.

Very disapointing,

The 'mount' isnt a real mount

- requirs out of combat.
- not account wide mount collection.
- only usable in Shadowmoon Valley.

Perhaps I'm the only one that realized this, but this item is a great utility to move quickly between your Garrison and the Shipyard: there is a small patch going down the hill which is classified as SMV. If you use it there it will have only a few seconds left when you reach the Shipyard table. Back works just as fine but most will have their characters (especially alts) logged in the Town Hall, meaning that the Garrison Heartstone can be used to go back instead.

ADD 6.2.2: obsolete if you have flying.

New Toys - Old Items Converting to Toys
I figured it's better now than later to start farming the old items that will be converted to toys in Legion. Who knows if they'll lower drop rates or how heavily they will be camped once they're added to the toybox.
I made myself a Google Sheets document to track all the toys being converted and it has the ability to mark off the item once you've found it. With the filters I can then hide any marked off toys. This has really helped me find and track the long list of items and I wanted to share it with the community. I've heavily cleaned it up for sharing purpose, so feel free to use it as you please!
