Any idea how you use these. I've made one and it suggests that I get a skill improvement but it just sits there.

I believe that this is one of the catch up items for people who want to quickly get to 600, as it seems like most people (including myself) do not get the skill ups past 600.

I'm not sure what the green item created does, or if it has any use but I'm probably not going to waste materials making them until I know if it is just a catch up item or if there is some other use to it.

This is used to up your MAX first aid level to 700, it does not increase your current level at all. If you're at 600, you'll still be at 600, but you won't ever have to go train to increase your max as you progress. Same thing if your only at 15, you will still be at 15, but will not have to ever go back to a trainer to increase your max.

If you are already 600 or above skill in First Aid, just sell these. They are of no use to you.

These should not be soulbound, at least then you could give them to your alts.

As soon as i combined the furs + the kit, I instantly got 5 skill points for first aid, so I don't think you need to turn it in anywhere if you don't have the right follower etc.

Seven of these popped out of a Salvage Crate today - I have furs to spare and figured, "What the heck, I'll level First Aid skill." - fourth conversion in i got a Combat Medic Kit Kit Medico da Battaglia - vendor price = 9g - so that, plus the 1.86g for Basic, it looks like you could get an acceptable return while leveling the skil.

I received one of these out of a Big Crate of Salvage today. The item is gray quality and vendor trash. However I did notice that I received a skill point. I was only around 500 skill level at the time.

Despite what the tooltip says, these now only take 5 Sumptuous Fur to create, not 10. Out of the 58 I had collected, I got 52 Basic Medic Kits, and 6 Combat Medic Kits.
