Since it hasn't been mentioned in the comments. This item is also contained in Borsa Parzialmente Digerita looted from certain rares in Nagrand. They're worth 95g each and I have received up to 5 in one bag so far. The bag isn't a guaranteed drop but the wood seems to be.

It's complicated.
But if you want a possible explanation...

If you were to transfer servers there is a 50k cap on gold that can be transferred at level 81+. If you happened to have gold in the hundreds of thousands you could buy as many of these as you can with what you have left over above 50k and sell it back at a 75% loss. So if you have 600k you can only take 50k with you. You buy 1,447 of these with the leftover 550k. After you transfer servers you sell them back at 95 a pop.

Now you have 187k gold of your 600k instead of just 50k. If for some reason you have no other option it WOOD be worth it.

i think is nice way to make money for new players (no alts)..in 10-15min i made 2k gold...i just wonder is there any other items like that?
