Drops off the Dark Keeper. Each time you do this instance or reset it, you have to go the portrait in front of the coffer room. Opening it will tell you the name of the Dark Keeper you need and where he is located. They are usually surrounded by two elite guards. Only one will spawn in an instance; it's a chance which.

Dark Keepers:

Dark Keeper Bethek: spawns inside the vault room as soon as you open the portrait

Dark Keeper Ofgut: makes up one of the groups in General Angerforge's location.

Dark Keeper Pelver: located at the Domicile, towards Pyromancer Loregrain.

Dark Keeper Uggel: quite a close walk; walk outside the vault room and go right to the last room. He is near the entrance where all the golems are.

Dark Keeper Vorfalk: he is in the bar room, the Grim Guzzler.

Dark Keeper Zimrel: situated at the Arena, where the Spectators are.

It opens the Dark Coffer. Just a random green really so if you don't get the guy to spawn in the room, you might not want to track the other ones down.

Did this yesterday. We had all Relic Coffer keys and the Dark Keeper Key. To save time we teleported out of of the dungeon and back in, only to find out we lost all our keys in the process.

So, be careful not to port out for any reason while hunting keys.

The Dark Keeper Key doesn't seem to exist anymore. I have done this dungeon solo for a good many times and I know where the humanoid is that drops it is supposed to be but he isn't even there anymore. So there appears to be no key anymore. If I am wrong please correct me.

It appears that you have to open all the safes BEFORE you kill the Dark Keeper or the Key doesn't drop.

We've run the dungeon several times, and those which the key doesn't drop are the times when we haven't opened the safes first.

Once the Dark Keeper is killed, he doesn't respawn or reset.

Buggy. I opened all the Relic Coffers, killed the golems, killed Uggel, and he didn't drop the Dark Keeper Key.

I just opened all the Relic Coffers, killed the golems, and killed the watcher who spawned after them. After reading the comments, I left the room and opened the portrait. It said the Dark Keeper was Pelver Deepstomp, in the Domicile. Even though I'd opened everything already, I went to the Domicile and found he'd spawned. I killed him, got the key, and went back. Successfully opened the Dark Coffer and got a coupleg old, Nightshade Gloves, Eye of Kajal, and Burning Essence.

So even if you forget and open all the Relic Coffers, just go look at the portrait. The mob will spawn for you.

after opening all Vaults , Open the portrait on the wall before entering The Vault and then Go back to Abandoned Mole machine. you see there are 3 mobs and one of them is Pelver Deepstomp.

Kill him and he drops The key.
