This item is generally obtained from the first skin you perform in Draenor. Using it grants you Draenor Master Skinning (700 max skill), regardless of what your current skill level is.

~~For Horde, Il bottino dei Lamacurva rewards the items to start all the primary crafting professions.~~ Looks like Blizzard removed that quest, thus changing how you acquire these items. I received them before I had finished the Bladespire Fortress quest line with my most recent character. The quests are two or 3 steps long and the final reward is an item you click to enable Draenor crafting as well as the level 1 blueprint for the related garrison building.

Prontuario di Pesca su Draenor and Primo Soccorso di Draenor both are found while fishing (as well as world drops) and Libro Mastro della Cartografia Fragile is found while digging. The remaining profession items -- Cucina di Draenor, Compendio delle Erbe di Draenor, Trattato sull'Estrazione su Draenor and Guida alla Scuoiatura su Draenor are random drops from out in the world. They do not have an associated quest, you just right click to learn the skill to the new Draenor max of 700.

NOTE: you can gather before you find these items, but if your skill is already level 600 you won't get any skill ups until you use the appropriate item.

I was tracking the achievement and was shocked that I got it when I went over 200 recipes with these non-cooking recipes. I suppose a recipe is a recipe is a recipe.

I have known skinning in Draenor since the expansion was out for less than a week and now it drops every time I skin there, not only one but two of them!
Found out if you delete the first one and then keep the other in your bags, they stop dropping,(for now)

Skinning is 800/800... but I only get scraps in Draenor.

I also keep getting the guide drops, but it says "already known".

It will let me try to learn it, but the learning fails.

Ah, well.. Don't really need the Draenor mats anyway... just thought I'd make a bit of coin.

As it turns out, this will be given to you even if you've skilled up to Legion skinning, probably because you're not on Draenor Master anymore. And it will be given to you every single time you skin anything.

In the past, I was able to loot this item and finish the skinning process even though I had already learned Skinning in Draenor from a previous scroll. I then just deleted the duplicate scroll from my inventory. Now, I'm unable to loot the item ("Already Known" and "You don't meet the requirements to loot that item"), and I can't finish the skinning process to receive my leather/hide. This is happening on different characters on different accounts, so it appears that a change has been made in the mechanics of this scroll, and it's negatively impacting those of us who have skinning as a gathering profession. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if there might be a work around for it? Any light that could be shed on this would be greatly appreciated.

Ok Blizzard either needs to stop this from dropping or give it a damn sell price so i do not have to type DELETE every time I get one. This is so freaking annoying.

The damned thing never drops for me at all, even though I don't have it and am still limited to skinning scraps.
