A random drop from NPCs in Draenor. Using this boosts your Herbalism maximum skill cap to 700.

It seems there are other books similar to this as well, that boosts the corresponding professions listed on each book.

I got this from an herb I was able to harvest all though i didn't have herbalism, i got along with 5 frostweeds :)

~~For Horde, Il bottino dei Lamacurva rewards the items to start all the primary crafting professions.~~ Looks like Blizzard removed that quest, thus changing how you acquire these items. I received them before I had finished the Bladespire Fortress quest line with my most recent character. The quests are two or 3 steps long and the final reward is an item you click to enable Draenor crafting as well as the level 1 blueprint for the related garrison building.

Prontuario di Pesca su Draenor and Primo Soccorso di Draenor both are found while fishing (as well as world drops) and Libro Mastro della Cartografia Fragile is found while digging. The remaining profession items -- Cucina di Draenor, Compendio delle Erbe di Draenor, Trattato sull'Estrazione su Draenor and Guida alla Scuoiatura su Draenor are random drops from out in the world. They do not have an associated quest, you just right click to learn the skill to the new Draenor max of 700.

NOTE: you can gather before you find these items, but if your skill is already level 600 you won't get any skill ups until you use the appropriate item.

I was tracking the achievement and was shocked that I got it when I went over 200 recipes with these non-cooking recipes. I suppose a recipe is a recipe is a recipe.

Already level 92, and this has not dropped for me. I've quested, and gathered 100s of herbs. No idea if I just have horrible luck, or if I'm glitched. Wish I could just buy this scroll somewhere. Anyone know a way around having to farm for it?

I gathered a herb, and got the compendium in first herb, I think the way the proffesions works is changed, cause it was the same thing for the first mob i skinned too.

Can you get a second book if you had herbalism, unlearned, then relearned it? I've killed a few mobs but don't want to waste my time if it won't drop.

Hey guys. You need to gather "frostweed" to get it. I was researching and that is the only thing that drops it. Your welcome!

Does anyone know can this "book" be bought anywhere? It dropped for me when I started quests in S. valley but for some stupid reason I sold it to vendor while emptying my bag and couldn't buy back :(
Now I built Herb garden and I hopped that I would be able to buy it from there like I have option in ench hut, but no one sells it :( I tried to herb around again, but it doesn't drop. Will it eventually? Or I am doomed? :(

This dropped for me even though I already learned it way back, I can use it but am afraid it will make me unlearn legion training.

alright blizzard this is getting ridiculous.
i have gotten this and the others SO MANY TIMES!
you can't relearn them (obviously)
you can't have more then one in your bag
you have to delete them to get rid of them
and if you don't pick them up, they go to your mailbox
so here's my question...
WHY CAN'T I SELL THEM?

This dropped for me on my very first herb. I imagine the drop rate has increased significantly since the release of Legion.

Ok Blizzard either needs to stop this from dropping or give it a damn sell price so i do not have to type DELETE every time I get one. This is so freaking annoying.

These drop over & over & over & OVER...even during Legion.
