Each of these items is identified with a big, purple and gold translucent globe. Stealth will help with locating each of the 4 required items.

The Anello Misterioso is located at (39.7, 39.9) in Gorgrond, in the volcano/dip behind the giant Iron Horde Battlebeast.

The Bastone Misterioso is located at (46.4, 16) in Nagrand, on one of the hills among the mushrooms, near Mr. Pinchy Sr.

The Stivali Misteriosi is located at (68, 19) in Frostfire Ridge. For Alliance, go W/NW from the entry into Frostfire from Gorgrond. Once you hit the giant lava pit/encounter for Borrok il Divoratore, head due north through the Gate of the Breakers into Magnarok (an area with lvl 100 regular and elites). Stick to the left ridge and go all the way to the back/north.

The Cappello Misterioso is located at (45.3, 37) in Talador, in the middle of Shattrath itself.

The turn in for all of these is at Khadgar's Tower in the NE corner of Talador and Immagine dell'Arcimago Vargoth is your reward.

I found the only way I could get this on my alts after the SL squish was get to 40. Go back to Chromie and resume current timeline. All I had done was unlock each base including the one in Talador. I then made sure I had collected and handed in all the other three pieces. I then went back to Shattrath and was able to loot the hat and hand in. Chromie time seems to be the culprite of my attemps. I had also opened up Nagrand base. Only the Spires base was still locked so that doesnt seem to have any impact on getting the hat.

Had turned in all other 3 items but this one wasnt there. The mage animation played, but there was just nothing beneath it.

Followed GothMyMages advice and returned to current timeline and it appeared.

TLDR; if this item doesnt appear, return to current timeline and try again
