I just got one of these from a glassweb spider in searing gorge. Another thing Id like to point out is that this is a must have for any Lock is just like the "Evasion" skill Rogues use. So if you draw a little too much aggro and the mob starts attacking you you will sometimes fade and lower your aggoro so your pet can take it back.

Assasin's Blade is a more easily obtainable version of the same dagger model. It drops from lockboxes from level 20-ish mobs - Worn Lockboxes if I remember correctly. It seems like a quite decent drop rate, as I had two on one trip through Stormwind Stockades.

This model is one of the most authentic rogue weapons if you ask me, and they will be the first thing I'll transmog when patch 4.3 hits!

For transmog purposes, this would appear to be a perfect off-hand weapon skin for rogues using Spada di Hanzo and going for a ninja look.

This is the only tanto (or maybe ko-wakizashi) with a black handle currently in game, which makes it very unique for rogues going after a ninja look.

I was farming for a few hours on and off, but without luck. Considering current speed of leveling one shouldn't put much faith in ever seeing one on AH as well. I wonder if it still drops at all.

Got one after ~ 1,200 runs in Sunken Temple farming trash elites, it fell off an atal priest, I think.

Also got one for 200g on the AH, go figure.

Anyway, got two in the last three months, the easy way, and the hard way.

ive been looking for this dagger for about 2 years now with my rogue and finally when i decide to make an alt monk i was able to try the actual instance with people.. still without any luck.
and then i think, why not just try AH one more time? just to silence that skeptic thought.

and i buy it in ah for 999g

Went farming for the Stealthblade today, spent 9 hours in the Sunken Temple and had multiple Epic drops, but no blade. A friend of mine logged on and decided to help me out. Stealthblade dropped on the first group of dragonkin mobs on his first run.

Don't listen to the drop locations. The place is called 'The Temple of Atal'Hakkar' if you're using atlasloot.

Picked one up after about 30 minutes of farming. I used my hunter to do the dirty work - decent AOE + high mobility seemed like a recipe for success. Obviously, with a .01% drop rate, your mileage is going to vary wildly - in fact, I almost didn't make the last run because I thought I was already up against the reset limit. Thank goodness I did.

On the right server this dagger can sell for 10k if not more. I got it today and sold it for that amount instantly in Trade.
