This mount is a 100% drop from HEROIC Garrosh Malogrido from the Assedio di Orgrimmar raid.

The mounts drop chance will change to roughly 1-2% once the Mists of Pandaria expansion ends and patch 6.0 goes live.

not going to lie I'm disappointed about this being the mount that drops off Garrosh, blizz said he would drop a mount that is on the level of greatness as invincible. the mount is cool looking BUT it is not anywhere near invincible's level, because it is solely a ground mount and a reskin of an extremely common mount, and before you down vote me because invincible uses the wire frame as the sparkle horse, remember that mount is a store bought one and because of that a lot rarer, than the guild and faction mount scorpions. we also run into the problem it lacks any back story or lore connected to it like invincible, the mount works better for a goblin to drop, like the wretched leader of the goblins Gallywix, than garrosh an ORC who had a hatred for for any other race than his own that kept goblins around purely for convenience, he should of had a something a lot more fitting such as a sha possessed wolf or his windrider not a cheap boss tie in.

If they want to throw on some rocket boosters and make it fly then mayhaps, until then lame end of expansion mount. Or they could activate the saw and drill and let me mow down my foes thok style in a blaze of glorious carnage

i don't know what you people are crying about, this mount looks totally awesome. Sure a sha-affected worgen or such would be nice but i'll settle for this (inb4 downrate)

They should have made that Engineering Golem mount the Garrosh drop mount and let this one make crafteable. The Golem is much cooler and it can fly.
And no I don't want a stupid recolored wolf either. We've already got 100s of them as pets, mounts, etc. so there is little to no epicness on those regardless of their origin (plus we already get wolfes for the non heroic achievement).

Garrosh Hellscream now drops two Kor'kron Juggernaut on 25-player Heroic difficulty. (Requires realm restarts to take effect.)

so 25 mans can nab these nicely now just over 3 months for the whole group and amazing for sale runs

Hi everyone!

Upon receiving this mount, I immediately noticed that the /mountspecial animation (the same animation you get when you also press spacebar/jump while stationary) is vastly different than the Amber Scorpion or the Kor'kron Annihilator. With the Kor'kron Juggernaut, you get a very aggressive fast attack-like animation where the mount springs up and slams its two arms together, as if it was smashing a foe.

This is now also in the BMAH! It was up on Ghostlands-EU today and with a few hours left is at about 150k.

Had no idea about this and I kept track of the new items added to it in WoD...
I already have it, but good news for some who have an alternative to weekly garrosh farms.

I opened an in-game ticket regarding this mount and personal loot and got a response today:

"I've had a look into this for you and can confirm that any item can drop from a boss whilst using Personal Loot, including the Kor'kron Juggernaut.
Since Personal Loot is only for yourself, that means that multiple versions can indeed drop during a raid."

Hope this clarifies everyone who had the same doubts I did.

This may be a noob question, but I killed Garrosh on Heroic to get the heirloom weapon about a month before WoD was to launch, but a mount never dropped. Should I have recieved a mount?

Drop rates for Pandaria's raid mounts according to Wowhead's current data:

Mastodonte Kor'kron is dropped on mythic mode only by Garrosh Malogrido, the 14th and final boss of Assedio di Orgrimmar. It is currently listed in Wowhead's simulated "tooltip" as a 7.08% drop rate, but it's unclear how that figure was derived or which looting method(s) it refers to, since it can be obtained using traditional looting methods like Group Loot and Master Looter, as well as the newer Personal Loot. It's possible the 7.08% figure is inflated from inclusion of data during the Mysts of Pandaria expansion, when it was a guaranteed drop.

None of these mounts can drop in LFR. Note that you cannot bonus roll any mounts from any instanced raid bosses. Bonus rolls do work for mounts from Pandaria's four world bosses, Sha della Rabbia, Galeone, Nalak, and Undasta, though not for Draenor's world boss Rukhmar. You can loot mounts whether or not you can currently use/learn them; for example, you can obtain the reins to a cloud serpent mount before you become exalted with Ordine della Serpe delle Nubi. Percentages above reflect drop rates from actual data, and will differ from the probabilities Blizzard has set, especially with smaller sample sizes where "good" or "bad" luck skew the data more.

Sorry for the stupid question but can this drop in normal now that legion is out or is it still Mythic bound but just with a low droprate?

So this mount is incredibly hard to come by considering it is a Mythic only drop. This means you can't do the lockout sharing trick as you can with pre-SoO raids. Mythic SoO is also not soloable by fresh 110s due to some DPS checks like Sha of Pride.

So it seems like going on Mythic SoO runs with personal loot is your best chance of getting it, I don't know if personal loot affects the drop chance (some places say that personal loot reduces the chance, but I can't find any official confirmation) but maybe someone could advise us on the most efficient method to obtain this mount (other than BMAH of course). Perhaps someone can share their experience in getting this mount post-MOP of course.

There doesn't seem to be much activity on this page. This will also apply to the Felsteel Annihilator and in the future, the Mythic Gul'dan mount.

Think you're having a bad day? (Think again!)

In a group of 4 we powered through SoO and as Garrosh Hellscream hit the ground the mount came up on the loot table - oh my god! I rolled for that baby and it slipped through my fingers, both me and the leader rolled 57 and the leader got the mount. As you can imagine I was devastated, it was my 102nd run and their 3rd... which had me cursing like a !@#$% and of course the leader was not going to offer a re-roll, so didn't even bother asking.

Not sure when I will see this mount again :/

You can now solo farming this mount if your dps is high enough. And another trick, you can list your group to Group Finder and then convert to raid, set loot to Group loot/Free for All(since ur the only one). That will give u the full 20-Man loot. Have fun farming and hope everyone get it soon

If you are wondering why it says the drop chance is ~24%, it's because the drop change changed from 100% to somewhere around 1% when the next content patch came. So the percentages are mixing together and invalidating the data. :)

This may or may not be known, but no one explicitly said it, so I had to ask for myself and figured I would share the findings...

I spoke with a GM last night and effectively asked, "If I run this on personal loot, is it possible for it to drop for me and a group member in the same run? Or, does the boss only have the opportunity to drop one, and if he is going to drop it, I now have to split the chance at the mount with every person in the raid?"

Side note: I only asked this because it is my understand that if you run current content mount bosses (with a 100% drop chance on their mounts) on personal loot, the mount will be randomly distributed to one person. Obviously this is a better method than giving out 20 just because you decided to run personal loot, but I wanted to know that this same mentality wasn't used even when the drop rate was lowered.

This was the response I was given:

This is Game Master Girazere and I hope you're having a fantastic afternoon.

When it comes to Personal Loot, it's just that. This means that any loot rolls are made specifically for your character and it doesn't affect anyone else's loot.

As for mounts in particular - I wasn't able to find information on how these loot drops work specifically - though if an item can drop off personal loot and does for one player, that would not affect anyone else in the group.

I guess what I'm meaning to say at the end of this is, that you should be fine to run with friends and family if you wanted so long as you keep the method on Personal Loot.

Everyone is free to take from this what you will, but I personally will use this to my advantage to get faster clears and have a little more fun with it, instead of running it solo.

Hope this puts anyone else at ease about bringing a friend but not losing out on the mount!

I am confused about the drop rate as wowhead says 6.46% drop chance but at patch notes before WOD was released, Blizzard had written that drop chance would be 1%. So which is true? Is there a chance Blizzard increased the drop chance or the 6.46% is a false one? I have 42 tries and still nothing

Recieved today from an Unclaimed Black Market Container, which cost me 160k - which is a steal considering how long I have been grinding this mount, as well as the time I missed out on a drop when I rolled the same as another player. Finally, my time has come!

I decided to take the plunge and start farming this mount since it's the end of BFA and the content is winding down. I was dreading it because of how long this place takes, Immerseus, Galakras and the Spoils fights. Not to mention that most of this place is indoors so you can't mount. On average, this place took me about ~50 minutes for a single run.

In one of the very rare instances where my luck actually paid off in this game, I got this mount in only 9 attempts.(##RESPBREAK##)258##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

Got this after 58 attempts. Not super lucky, but it could have been way worse considering how long this raid is. Used to be the consolation for not getting the mount was the ~3k gold the raid gave (plus cloth and spirit of harmony AH price), but they nerfed the gold gains hard. Luckily I got this on my first try after the gold nerf.

I just wanna say to all those who want to start farming this mount, dont. Earn gold and get it from BMAH. I'm now currently on 162 tries, I've gotten the Tusks of Mannoroth 3 times, 2 times on leather and 1 on cloth so that freaking sucks aswell.

One run takes around 30-45 mins, unless you have crazy speed gear. I hope I get lucky soon, cause after all these attempts I cant quit. But If I were you, dont even start farming it, farm gold instead! :)

EDIT: Recieved it today with 208 attempts in total, and 5 pair of tusks all in all (never on a plate char)

Garrosh Malogrido decided to have mercy on me during my mount run with my Feral Druid a couple of weeks ago and dropped Mastodonte Kor'kron after farming the mount for what seemed like eons! The mount drops on roughly a 3% drop rate from Garrosh Hellscream in the Assedio di Orgrimmar. The mount only drops in the mythic version of the raid. The Siege of Orgrimmar raid is located in Pandaria in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms right outside of The Shrine of Two Moons. For those of you still farming the mount, keep your heads up, it will drop eventually! I'm rooting for ya!

As of Patch 10.1.5 of Dragonflight, you may now skip directly to Garrosh Hellscream in order to farm this mount a little faster each week.

In Patch 10.1.5, a raid skip will be added to the Assedio di Orgrimmar raid.

After defeating Garrosh Malogrido at least once on your account, you will gain access to a scroll near Ramingo della Sapienza Cho at the entrance to the raid, allowing all characters on your account direct access to the Inner Sanctum, the area in Assedio di Orgrimmar where we fight Garrosh directly. Blue post.

The raid skip is now in as of 10.1.5, and is available just to your right after entering, next to Lorewalker Cho - you're looking for Pergamena delle Imprese Passate. You are taken to just after the door to Garrosh's room, and you are able to go backwards if you like, though not very far since the door to the Paragons is locked. Note that as of this comment, you may be disconnected when using it, but you will be sent to the correct location upon logging back in.

Hi guys, dont know what happend if it was pure luck or bug today on eu servers 8/2/23 just before the servers closed,
I killed garosh mythic using the new skip tool(banner) and i got the mount two times in a row. I suggest u to go and try your luck!

I've ran 8 characters over 2 weeks to try and get the shoulders, no shoulders but had 3 of these drop. I'm guessing they've increased the drop chance recently..?
