I looted one of these from a Tesori della Vallata, which I got from killing Maestro delle Ombre Sydow, one of the old quest mobs who's now a Vale rare. The elixir gave me the appearance of a ghostly Pandaren Hunter with a tiger pet.

Unfortunately it seems that the buff is lost either when you log out or after 10 minutes of real time, since when I logged off this character I had about 5 minutes left and the next time I logged in my appearance was back to normal. Not sure if this was a bug or something that got hotfixed, but the character change buff now lasts for me through extended logouts!

In addition to changing your appearance, this also changes the appearance of your mounts. Mounts will appear grayer and duller while under this elixir's effects, just like the imbiber.

I got two of these potions, and after I consumed one, my male orc took the apperiance of a female pandarian!
While the buff was up, I clicked "Let's party!" on a Blingtron 3000, and the female pandarian got replaced by a human. But instead of what usually happens, that I take form as a human male, I took form as a FEMALE human!

Looted two of these flasks after killing Maestro delle Ombre Sydow and opening Tesori della Vallata.

The elixir lasts 10 minutes and will make you appear as one of the following:
Anji Autumnlight
Che Wildwalker
He Softfoot
Kun Autumnlight
Leven Dawnblade
Ren Firetongue
Rook Stonetoe
Sun Tenderheart

My favorite part about this item...YOU CAN MOUNT while transformed! Mounting will not break this transformation. =)

Curious to note, the transformation effects have varying states of translucency or sha-effects depending on which Lotus form you assume, I.E. Ren's transformation is fully corporeal because Ren is actually still alive. (He's tucked away in a northern-spot of the Vale, currently, albeit he's feeling quite down.)

All told, Kun, Anji, and Ren are surviving members of the Lotus, with Lao, Che, Leven, Rook, Sun, and He being deceased, with the latter three being Sha-corrupted spirits.

Like a lot of other transformation items, this is completely removed if you shape shift as a druid.

I wish they'd make it so the buff stayed and when you came out of your form, you were still transformed. :(

Just killed Quid and he dropped a Tesori della Vallata and 3x Antiche Spezie dei Pandaren. The box contained Elisir degli Spiriti Errantix1 and Giglio della Nevex20

No longer removed when you shapeshift as a druid. Your colors become faded though like it does when you mount up (works in bird, travel, cat, and bear form. Not boomkin so i can't speak for them but i assume you're probably fine to shapeshift and not lose the buff).

Are these useful for anything, or are they just pointless tat? I mean, is there any secret, or quest or whatever for which these are needed? Or it is just for lolz? I still have some in a char bank and wondered why I kept them
