~~I'm not even convinced these exist!~~ ~~Unless you're lucky enough to get these from looting one of the Smouldering Chests you may as well wish for the moon.~~ Without doubt the rarest plate item of all time. Fed up after months on TI with repeated drops of cloaks, helms, chest. Took long enough for the bracers to drop, but these things are ridiculous.

Don't think that going after rares or high lvl mobs will give you any better chance, it doesn't. Likewise don't waste coins in the cave of chests either. I even looted a Burden of Eternity from here, but not a sniff of any gloves (except leather).
God knows what these things would cost if they could be auctioned!

A Miracle! After 6 months of killing everything from turtles to rare elites they finally drop; from an Ordos Candlekeeper of all things. To put this into perspective it took just 3 weeks to farm a full set of 496 cloth for my priest (who is still some way off lvl90).

After farming hundreds of timeless pieces, these have never ever dropped for me. Rather frustrating considering I've seen every other timeless piece multiple times.

I use an addon called Transmog Tokens which identifies if I can learn an appearance from a token. However, the addon doesn't show which spec I need to be in to learn any missing appearance.

To solve this, I used the timeless Isle guide on wowhead and I'm listing the key information here for your reference so you know which spec you need to be in to learn the transmog appearance! I then search for the name in the in-game transmog window... in my case on my monk "Cranefeather" and "Fire-Chanter" to see which one I am missing. Hope it helps save someone some headaches! :)

Found this information useful from the wowhead guide:

Cloth:

Cloudscorcher: any Mage or Warlock spec
Amaranthine: any Priest spec

Leather:

Cranefeather: Rogues, Guardian, Feral, Brewmaster, Windwalker
Fire-Chanter: Balance, Resto, Mistweaver

Mail:

Ordon: Resto and Elemental
Crimsonscale: Enhancement and Hunters

Plate:
Cliffbreaker: Plate DPS

Elder Tortoiseshell: Plate Tanking
Everbright: Holy
