It seems this will be an item sold from a vendor according to the "Refundable" option in the "Quick Facts" to the right on this page meaning it's possible to sell it back to the vendor and get a full refund for doing so. That also would mean that it won't be bought with gold but rather some other type of currency. To get the refund, the item must be sold to a vendor within 2 hours of the purchase, else it will either not be refundable or it will be sold for a small amount of gold.

Will be purchasable with three Moneta Celestiale, which are obtainable by competing in the Celestial Tournament on the Timeless Isle.

Information is currently limited, and I will update this post whenever new information arises, such as how many coins you receive in the victory of a tournament.

If anyone knows anything about these that I haven't detailed, please reply to this.

Maestro Li sells these pets on the Isola Senza Tempo in Patch 5.4.

These pets will be purchasable with the new currency called Moneta Celestiale which is awarded for winning the Celestial Tournament and it's weekly quest called Il Torneo dei Celestiali.

The celestial pets cost 3 x Moneta Celestiale each.

Note: To enter the tournament to start accumulating the coins, you must have 30 level 25 pets.

The August Celestial pets are as follows:

Chi-Chi, Prole di Chi-Ji

Zao, Figlio di Niuzao

Xu-Fu, Cucciolo di Xuen

Yu'la, Stirpe di Yu'lon

This pet CANNOT be caged, so no trading. (Sorry!)

Gorgeous pet, and yep Yu'la flies with you when you fly. Noticed this flying animation in Dragonflight, and didn't remember it flying with me before. So, awesome for that!
