After looting this mask will give you a debuff and you will hear your char begin whispering you.
Here is what I found so far.
<Your character> Whispers:
Nothing will ever change.
Of course my worst fears are going to come true.
Does this armor look a little tight on me?
What are people saying about me?
Everyone around me only pretends to like me.

Stupid drop rate is way too low.. You can eaily spend 5 minutes mashing mobs, and when you stnd on a mountain mo corpses, maybe, just maybe, a single mask can be looted..

Drop rate seemed fine to me from both Dubbio Finale and Dubbio Persistente .After you loot the first mask you get a debuff for 30min. Your character then starts to whisper to you every 30sec-1.5min for as long as the debuff lasts. It does not refresh to its full duration if you already have it and it's not re-applied even if you loot another mask after the debuff is gone. When you turn in the quest Elder Sage Storm-Sing will cure the debuff. It has the same name as this item (Mask of Doubt) and the text on it says "Immersed in dark thoughts" but I can't seem to find it on wowhead. The whispers I got are:

I keep hearing voices in my head. Should I be worried?
Why do I try so hard? It's all meaningless in the end...
Does this armor look a little tight on me?
