It's not a buff food, but it heals for a lot more than the average level 10 req foods.
Some Alliance quests have you killing things that drop the clams with the meat in them frequently, so when Boiled Clams isn't healing you enough anymore, this is a good upgrade.
Though it lacks the buff, this is good to chow down on when you already have the 'well fed' buff on and don't need another.

To make your own:
1lb. Thick-cut Bacon or salt pork
2 cans Clam Meat undrained
1 large carrot, Crystalsong Carrot , Juicycrunch Carrot , just avoid Partially Chewed Carrot
3 large potatoes
1 celery stalk
2 cups Ice Cold Milk or heavy cream
Black Pepper
Sea Salt
Ground Nutmeg

Dice bacon or salt pork fine and cook over Cooking Fire in a skillet until all fat has been rendered out. Spoon out bacon bits and set aside for now.
Wash, but do not peel, potatoes and dice into bite-size chunks. Cook potatoes in the bacon fat until they begin to soften.
Transfer cooked potatoes and the fat into a large-ish stock pot and pour in the undrained cans of Clam Meat. Add water to pot until potatoes are barely covered and boil.
Clean and peel carrots. Clean celery. Slice both fine into boiling stock pot.
Add Black Pepper and Sea Salt to taste. Mixture will be quite salty from the bacon already, so go easy on it!
When the vegetables have cooked completely, lower heat and add milk or cream. Do not boil!
Stir chowder periodically while it simmers for a bit longer to blend all the flavors.
Add a dash of ground nutmeg.
Serve hot in the hollowed-out skull of a gnome. Garnish with the saved bacon bits or parsley to taste.
