Personally I found the droprate to be about 50%; I quickly ended up with a backpack full of these and couldn't get a Razormane War Shield to drop.

Like all things it's random and different people will have different experiences.

I've been after this thing for at least 2 hours... still no drop. its usually the first of the 3 i get. >.<

The drop rate on these things is ludicrous. Move along if you don't care about the rewards.

Horrible drop rates on these things.
But I walked away with about 14k XP after getting the three drops required for this quest. Took me just over an hour as a mage.

I hate that quest.
i killed the whole area from Razormane seer's.
But it never dropped.
After 2 Hours it finnaly dropped.
And The weird thing is for my other characters they dropped on the third seer.

I went on a pigman genocide for over an hour and a half before this dropped. Definitely not worth the quest reward but i had alot of rest exp to eat up. I sent a message to blizz asking if the droprate was bugged or something. I'll edit when i find out

It's weird that you guys are complaining about the drop rate. It could've been increased in 3.3.3, I don't know... But I just got 4 in a row. Might be RNG being "nice" to me for once... I don't know. Drop chance might just be bugged because another pally that keeps running around me has 3.

Odd thing: Neither of us has gotten a shield or dagger.

the dagger and shield both dropped of the 5th mob (not the same mob offcourse), the dagger i got from the 8th...
don't give up as this quest gives you a nice boost of xp while grinding for these items.

This may no longer drop. Last comments seem to be during WotLK. Its highly likely this was removed with the sundering of the barrens in cata. It hasn't been seen on the new razormane seer found in the southern barrens.

This drops from Veggente Chiomaguzza as of 10.1.7. Note that it is BoP. I got mine after about 5 full clears of the area. The slow respawn rate slows down the grind a bit, but it's not bad otherwise.
