Cooking these will turn green at 210. Mithril Headed Trout which are the same cooking skill (175) remain yellow past 225. So cook your cod before your trout :)

If you are working on your fishing skill at the same time, like I was, this can be easily combined by spending about 90 minutes of fishing in either Booty Bay or Dustwallow Marsh.

Using lures, I went from 150 to 215 fishing and ended up with roughly 120 Raw Rockscale Cods — which should allow you to easily max out your cooking skill once you're at 175 — and nearly 60 Raw Spotted Yellowtails, which can be used with the recipe you get from the fisherman at Steamwheedle Port, when you're in Tanaris to do the artisan skill cooking quest.

You can't beat STV for fishing these up. I fished right off the dock with a base skill of 181, a strong fishing pole (+5 Fishing), and a Bright Bauble.

In 10 minutes I caught:
4 Oily Blackmouth
5 Raw Spotted Yellowtail
2 Firefin Snapper
24 Rockscale Cod
