Spell Damage affects:

This trinket is fantastic. For any DPS caster class, +spell hit is extremely important for raiding. No other stat will give you a better DPS increase, until you hit the +hit cap.

The 150 dmg/15 seconds, 90 second cooldown is wonderful as well. This trinket should be epic, imo. I just found it today and I'm pretty excited (as you can tell).

If you can spare the trinket slot, this can be useful for a tank. 2.5% spell hit cuts your chance to have taunts and other spells resisted in half!

LOL I JUST found out about this trinket. Weird because I've been exalted with Scryers for like... 4 months now.

I'm going to use this on boss fights because +35 hit from a trinket is just awesome, not to mention the +150 dmg on use with 90 sec cooldown.

Definitely worth 17g. Highly recommended for raiders!

This Trinket, combined with Starkiller's Bauble from The Horrors of Pollution provides 58 Spell Hit Rating.

58 Spell Hit Rating is ~28.7% of the way to 99% spell hit chance on Raid bosses. Pretty nice considering they only take up two slots.

This item does not share it's full cooldown with other similar items of this type, only time the buff it gives is on. It means you can use one of them after another, but their effect cannot be stacked.

can more than one be equipped for just the + hit rating or do they not stack? I dont care if i can pop one gem after the other the + 32 hit is what this trinket banks on.

I quickly replaced my http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25936 quest reward with this trinket. I find that using http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28040 in between the GCD for the Bloodgem reduces any lag in dmg output.

With the merger of Spell hit and Melee hit, this is now semi-kinda-sorta useful for Retribution paladins and Enhancement shamans.

The Use: isn't ideal, but if you REALLY need hit there's really nothing better.

I got this trinket and kept it all the way to 80 and for a good while after. It's decent, and the price makes it a must grab for Scryers that are dps casters
