droprate isn´t that bad if there are enough of em...
i get all stinger in about 10 mins ... in the respawn time ( isn´t to long anyways... ), i killed some demons near the place.

i got the 5 stingers in only 8 kills which wasnt too bad, i rode along the coasts for the mobs while doing the Phase Hunter quest

Drop rate sucked hardcore on this quest. I have killed dozens of these and have gotten a mere 3 out of the 5. I am going to take the advice of a friend and search for a more highly populated spot.

I got all of mine after 6 kills i wonder if i was lucky or drop rate is just good.

My suggestion to get a lot of these is the following.
Note that you should be a AoE-castable class. (A warlock is preferred)

1. Warlock : Voidwalker, Hunter: Pet & Volley
2. Find a spot where there a lot gathered up and aggro them, let your pet take the damage, then AoE them down.
3. Loot.

I once did it while doing "That little extra kick" and got all 5 from one pull.
(I pulled around 6 of those)

If you don't get all 5 stingers on the first pull, just repeat.
